Always bought Andis for my dogs and these ones heated up so quick just after 5mins use. Think of just returning and getting dearer ones

It is extremely noisy, and the dog, usually OK with trimming, was terrified. It vibrates a lot, so much your hand will hurt. Not only that, but it overheats, you can't even hold it after a while, and this to the point it starts smocking, until it stopped working completely at the first usage. Furthermore, it also comes with a USA plug, incompatible with UK sockets.

These dog trimmers are excellent.They have a removable blade and come in a nice snap down case together with a few plastic guides and some oil.I love how easily the blades can be changed and Andis blades are available on Amazon.I ordered these trimmers as they were recommended to me by a dog groomer. I’ve been grooming now for about 3 years.These trimmers go through tricky coats and even matting. They have just one speed but this was a decent step up for me and I’m delighted with them.They are simple to use and not overly noisy, they do get warm but I used them consecutively from one dog to another and didn’t encounter any issues.Importantly, they come with a US plug so I also ordered a step down converter from US to UK and this has to cover the wattage of the clippers which is 10 W. I think my step down converter is up to 45W and was around £10.You need this or it will overheat.I spoke to Andis customer service about this and they were very helpful.These trimmers are worth the price in my opinion, have a good cable length and are simple to operate and clean. They make grooming a matted coat much easier, and make quick work of my own golden doodle.I hope you find my review helpful.
