I love Mackie's "Built like a tank" products
A good solid USB sound card for sound production. Includes MIDI in/out. Seems to be completely plug & play with Ubuntu Linux. I just plugged it in and started using it right away. It sounds great, and is absolutely completely quiet when nothing is playing, even with the knobs cranked up all the way. I didn't need any of the software that comes with this, but i'll probably play with it sometime. Added note 2/1/2026: I paid $105 for this. It's a great piece of gear and glad that I got it, but if I knew they were going to drop the price 30% I would have waited, or returned the one I have and bought it again. Anyway, NEW LOW PRICE, so definitely worth it if you need something like this.

Producer 2-2 Amazing
Outstanding product. Works as well as units 5x’s the price if not better. Solidly built not like a toy as some others.

Great device, Low price, what's not to love?
I've had a Samson Q2U for about 4 years, but always used the usb output, wow did this make a difference. It's such a well built device, and very worth the price. Sound quality is awesome, I did have to get a preamp so I wasn't driving maxed gain, though 5hat was more to do with having a dynamic mic, you'd have no issue with a condenser mic. The knobs and buttons are clearly labeled and I appreciate that the buttons have lights behind them. Driver install from the Mackie website is straight forward.

Great value
Built great. Good performance. However, could use an improvement in the gain knob. The gain increase sharply at the latter end of the turn.

I will recommend this company to anyone who is buying an audio interface. It easily hooks up to computer and sound quality is amazing.

You can trust Mackie to be good quality.
I purchased this inexpensive Mackie audio interface so I can leave it at my summer cabin to use for music projects. I’ve used Mackie products before and so I’ve come to expect their reputation for quality, reliability, and good sound. They always build their hardware to be durable and ergonomically on point. Integration with my Cubase DAW and other applications was seamless as to be expected.

DOESNT PLAY NICE WITH OBS!!! ITS ONLY FOR PRETNTIOUS MUSICIANS!!!
SUCKS!!!! It doesn't work with OBS!!!! SUCKS!!!! It has ZERO volume. You HAVE to download there software, is it user friendly? NO!! Is it a total hassle to download and setup?? YEAH, IT SUCKS DONT BUY GET THE BEHRINGER INSTEAD!! IT SUCKS!!!! TOTAL JUNK, HAVE TO CRANK 200% THE PREAMP TO EVEN HEAR ANYTHING. I should have known not to buy a Mackie product. They refuse to give customers what they need and force them down thier pretentious stuck up old ways... you could make an interface that works with OBS, MACKIE YOU LOSERS!!!!
