First time using a bromide sanitizer for my spa . This product was recommended by my knowledgeable salesperson. It has both mineral and bromide for clear water quality, no smell like chlorine sanitizers . Bromide works best in hot water spas and dose not break down as fast chlorine. Keeps my spa levels in the right area for use .

We have used it for years with our hot tub. The jumpstart packet is great after cleaning and refilling. We then put the system in the next day. Heck of a lot cheaper buying it on here than through one of our local pool stores.

my tub came with an in-line chemical system but the plastic holder for the silver and bromine cartridges disintegrated over the course of ten years. This floater is an excellent replacement.

I had been managing my hot tub myself checking all of the chemical weights. After draining my hot tub I decided to try a different approach. I placed this in and did not have any issues. We have continued to use it since while replacing the yellow one. My husband seems to like this better than the other method of balancing all of the chemicals. New filter, new water, new chemical method. No issues since. The smell is normal. Chemical smells of pool products. As far as cost, I think the longevity of the minerals makes it worth it. The bromine went a little faster than I expected. Time is money and the product seems worth it when I have a working hot tub now with less thought required.
