I have engineered wood flooring but in places the varnish finish has worn off. Is it ok to use ?

I have oak laminate flooring of which I do not want a shine on the surface just a soft sheen would this be suitable,and also could I apply with cloth

I use this on my varnished parquet flooring and a laminate wooden flooring. I use the bona mop to do it and it does not leave a shine on the surface and the flooring appears the same only cleaner. It has no fragrance. I guess it could be applied with a cloth. Spray the floor surface and mop with the cloth. The mope head is really flexible to move around and the mop is detachable and washable. How far does the 1L bottle go? I have a 16ft by 12ft lounge

Can this be used on oiled floors? Some comments advise it can't be but description on here says you can?
