URBAN ARMOR GEAR Case for iPhone 4/4S, Moss

I searched and searched for a new case for my iPhone 4. I wanted something protective, yet slim enough to fit into a pants pocket. I wanted something sharp looking, but wouldn't get too damaged from use over time. I also wanted something that could fit oversized plugs into the Apple connector without removing the case as well as protection for the glass screen when laying the phone down.I considered other cases such as LifeProof or OtterBox, but they just didn't seem quite right. They were either too big, or had weird features such as a built-in screen protector or a screw-in headphone plug; these were things I just didn't want for my case. In the past, I had Speck cases before but found that they would wear easily and appear very damaged over time.The Urban Armor case fit all my needs perfectly. It looks excellent, is very sturdy and robust feeling, allows the use of large plugs, has a protective lip surrounding the glass screen, and is small and compact. It also comes in a variety of colors so you will be able to pick your favorite. I have been using this case for several months and I am 100% pleased with no complaints. You must try this case! Trust me, you won't be disappointed!

I am the type of guy who looks over review after review. Kid you not I must have looked at 100+ cases and read at least 10+ reviews for each case. After searching and searching I had a few choices: Incipio, Otterbox, Speck, UAG, and some others. Now the Otterbox defender while looking rather bulky and strong was the seemingly best out of all of them. But for me I was looking for something smaller and cheaper. And more stylish I might add. Incipio has some good two tone ones and my wife has one as well. Those are nice, simple design and fit well just not for me I wanted to be "unique" lol. Anyways Speck had some really neat cloth ones but it seemed some of the reviews said the cloth peeled after a bit. Its hard to say if those were generic or the real deal but either way enough for me to be deterred. Then there was the UAG.One thing I check for in all reviews is fit. If its going to be slipping in and out (gigiddy) of the case then I am not down for it. A lot of case reviews complained about this. The high end ones not so much but once again price is a factor here. So then there was the UAG reviews. ALL SOLID! So that was my first push into buying this bad boy. Then there was the user pics. Always a plus when looking at products. Simply put the case just was awesome looking. Real sleek and, well urban. So I ordered it.Got it in the mail today so shipping took about 4 days not too shabby I suppose seeing as they said it would be here by the 2nd of July. The packaging is pro. quality so thats always a plus lol. Anyways opened it up and just as it was pictured. The full screen protector doesn't fit prefectly, at least not for me. But it definitely works. Then the case. Lightweight and great looking. Then the fit. Perfect!Anywasy my first review and just want to say UAG CASE is a solid home run for anyone who buys it. I already dropped (waist high) my iPhone with this nice and sturdy cover on it and it landed in one of the corners and protected it very well. I also installed a screen protector by Tech Armor. The only problem is some of the sides, particularly the top-right is not covering or overlapping in the face as much as I wanted to and it is kind of pushing the screen protector up a little bit. I keep having to push it back with my thumb or nail to keep the screen protector from lifting. Other than that it's awesome! I am thinking of getting a different color for variety.

Great protection, slim profile, not cumbersome, very cool looking. Both my husband and I love ours. Great product for iPhone.1/2014 Updated review knocked off some stars. I am very careful with my case and have dropped it onto a soft surface only once since purchasing. Before I even dropped it I noticed the black trim around the phone viewer starting to come apart in pieces. Within a week the entire trim had fallen out. Then today I noticed a long thin crack coming from the viewer area (on back of phone) leading down farther than halfway down my case. what the heck.... Husband has already replaced his with a Magpul case and is very satisfied with the Magpul one. He says the Magpul is more "grippy" and not as slippery as the UAG case. I am also replacing my UAG with Magpul. I really wanted to love this case but sadly it has not been durable enough.

It's good, but it isn't Otterbox good. The silicone sleeve is already starting to sag (< 2 months after purchase), and the screen protector is not of a high quality. Overall, it's okay. For the $20-30 it's a pretty good case, but I will likely have to buy a new one before a year. When I buy iPhone cases, I want something that will last at least a year and provide solid protection and good quality. This isn't a bad case, but it could be better.

Few days ago I got this case and I must say I'm very pleasantly surprised. It's sleek, fits great, offers enough protection for me, fit in jeans and sweater pockets great without collecting any residue. Nothing sticks to it like with speck covers. About a year ago I got a speck cover, candy shell from Amazon. Worked great but after few months rubber pieces got so soft and almost playdough-like, they started coming off and sticking to everything. So I did some research and looked like it wasn't an original speck. So I went to speck website and bought a new one there. Looked same but the rubber pieces seamed stronger and harder. So I thought it would be better and last longer. NOPE!!! Second case lasted me barely 4 months. Started collecting dust and residue like crazy, rubber broke off faster, when I had it in my jeans pocket it would get sticky and fall apart even faster. That's when I started looking around for different case and I found UAG case. I love it. From first touch the rubber parts seem stronger and harder, I think it will hold up better then speck. So goodbye speck!!! Hello UAG!!!
