Maypole7 Pin 6 m Straight Extension Lead (Plug To Socket), for Trailer Lighting

Guess the QC doesn't involve checking the wiring at one end is the same as the other.Plugged mine in and instead of hazards flashing I got the number plate light blinking. Took the end caps off the wire and they had wired each end differently. An easy fix for me but maybe not for others. Had I not needed it this weekend I'd have sent it back

I bought this cable to test my caravan road lights without having to move the caravan to connect it to the car. It showed a fault with the wiring but I knew there was no fault with the wiring. So I tested the cable and found that two of the internal connections had been connected incorrectly. This was easily rectified by me as I knew what to do, but this may not be the case with everyone. This could result in the cable being returned as faulty through no fault of Amazon ( a manufacturing fault ). Or worse, a costly wiring check on the caravan when there wasn't a wiring fault. Apart from the cable being initially faulty, it now works perfectly.

I read a lot of reviews on the wiring being wrong .but I had no problem at all maybe just a bad batch

The item parts seem OK. But the cable even though it has a QC sticker was wired incorrectly. Didn't have time for a replacement so just put the colors in the correct holes myself.

Arrived in good time and was just what I was looking for to extend my lighting board to go on the back of my caravan in emergency situations when the lights fail - would be good for long trailers too. All wiring good, so no problems that others have reported.

Perfect! Bought to extend tow bar electrics to power a light board as the caravan indicators were not working. Has done the job.

Excellent product

Well made extension cable, arrived on time, problem on first use as cores to pins one and two were swapped in plug end resulting in LH indicator not functioning. Only took a couple of minutes to fix but it was marked as QA passed!
