This is great if you are storing your barrels outside. The heavy-duty material feels very sturdy - it's not thick, but it also does not feel like it will rip easily. It fits my barrels perfectly and keeps debris and water from collecting on the top of the barrel. The UV lining seems to keep some of the heat down as well. The drawstring is nice addition; it keeps the cover from lifting off in windy days.

This cover is wonderful! Fits my 55 gallon burn barrell. It's a lot easier to deal with than the tarp I was using which I had to replace every 4-6 months due to the tarp wearing out. This cover stays put and looks great!

These are great for keeping sun/light off off your water storage. I have 55 gal barrels and these fit perfectly. Material is thick, and the covers are well made. There are pull-ends at the bottom to snug the cover around the barrel.

Why did you pick this product vs others?:Definitely makes my burn drum less unsightly! It’s a thinner material than I thought it would be but is doing the job.

It has a silver liner sewn inside to reflect heat & it has a draw string at the bottom. It is better than I expected! I couldn’t decide between just the top covered option or covering the entire barrel so got 2 of each. I like this so much better so will be buying 2 more!

These covers seem to be well made and were very easy to put over my rain barrels and fit perfectly. I'm hoping they have enough insulation to help keep what little rain water is left in my barrels from when it was warmer to keep it from freezing. I added some inulation before I put on the covers, so maybe they're safe. I know I should empty the barrels before cold weather sets in, but I use it to water my houseplants and don't like to waste it. I have 2 barrels and have let both freeze and split in places. They're patched as best I could and still leak slowly, but with luck, these covers will keep this from happening again or getting worse.

I have several perennials in half-barrel planters. With a mild winter, they return in the spring. A harsh winter destroys them. I assume they don't get the protection of the ground inside a planter and freeze more easily...so I put the barrel planter into this bag, placed some bubble wrap (from Amazon packages) around the edges to cut the heat loss from wind chill. The fact that the bag is black means it will pick up more heat from sunlight over the winter as well.This bag is just the right size for a half-barrel planter, with extra to cover the plants on top if desired.
