It does the job, I do find that sometimes it traps the liquid inside and I have to shake it out (I gather that's because the leaves are blocking the bottom part, so the liquid can't escape.I don't need to worry about my teeth having green bits stuck to them lol.I don't see it lasting for too long, i feel like the mechanism will break. it is thin and light.Serves what i need it for.

This is well made and of good quality, I use it to make spiced tea in my mug so is very convenient

Nice size if making a single cup. Only downside to the size is that you have to get the leaves in the middle exactly without any on the edge of the infuser. Otherwise you will get leaves in your tea that have escaped into your finished drink. Easy enough to make sure it doesn’t happen but an extra thing to keep an eye on. I should have gone for one slightly bigger as I think it would make life easier.

If you like proper tea (not from a bag) then you need a tea strainer and if you need a tea strainer id suggest you get this one. Simple, no frills, works perfect, easy to clean, didn't cost much!! Perfect

When closed, this wont form a great tight seal so some loose tea will find it’s way out. Doesn’t bother me at all.The quality is good, the hinge mechanism works well and it hasn’t shown any signs of rust so far.

For the price, this is okay. It does the job. I did notice however that my tea leaves did escape from the strainer and it didn't seem all that secure.

Excellent genuine loose tea tongs. I have struggled to find tongs that have a fine enough mesh for standard loose tea, and this is perfect. I would rather pay for a branded product than cheaper alternatives that don't work as well. As well as using for various loose teas, ginger/lemon pieces, I've used it for ground coffee when making a single cup instead of using the cafetiere (although the grind does fall through the mesh a little, it makes an adequate cup of coffee at a pinch!)

Straining tea obviously!!!
