Preamps, as the name implies, come before the amplifier but after the cartridge. **Q: Can i use this instead of my turntable preamp** A: if you have a turntable with a preamp on the circuit board you can bypass it, but it will still be sending the audio through the circuit so yes, but in order to truly bypass your internal preamp you need to disconnect it from the board and resolder the wires back. That is what i did with my AP LP 120 it was kind of a pain but if you know how to solder can be done relatively quickly, not sure it was worth the risk tbh. **Q: Will this ever be back in stock?
