Hi,the cable is 3ft 6inches long.I am only 5ft 7 so i have to wind some of the cable in,i then clip my Nano to my shorts when running.Hope this helps.

Can you use this with an ipod

I'm pretty sure you can, it says you can use it with iPhone, and the plug is the same for iPod. I can't try it because I'm keeping it as a spare at the moment and I don't want to take it out of the packaging. You can use the one I'm using at the moment with an iPod, but it's a Sony, which they have stopped making, that's why I bought this one, because it looks exactly the same, but is considerably more expensive.
