FOND FAREWELL TO A SERIES FOREVER SO ENTERTAINING
In this final season, the most formidable challenge of all. Saving humanity may involve the sacrifice of Nick's family and friends. Loyal fans have every cause for concern as the dramatic climax delivers a succession of shocks.Thirteen episodes. Overall another great mixture of thrills, horror and fun (fancy somebody daring to abduct creepy young Diana!). Always appealing has been the central theme: creatures described by Brothers Grimm existing for real, they still around but in human form. Amongst them are monsters to be tracked down and to have powers curbed. That is what Grimms are for, Nick risking so much since learning he is one.As always, throughout there is much to admire. Movingly at least two monsters have unsuspected good intentions. Episode 4 is of particular interest, it directed by the show's star David Giuntoli. Cleverly it contrives to ensure Nick, but not David, prominently remains on screen - a real tour de force for actor Sasha Roiz (Captain Renard).Interesting bonuses include a look back at Nick's most memorable encounters as a Grimm, an amusing gag reel, farewells from the cast.Forever inventive, sometimes audacious (certain eventual alliances the very last expected), unfailingly entertaining (humour an essential ingredient), for six seasons the show has proved a real treat.Of course there is sadness now all is over, but enormous satisfaction the series ends on such a high.

A short end to a fantastic series. Beautifully created if with a few really bad CGI moments. Completely believable world and characters and a huge potential for more sadly curtailed by the bean counters. Chance of progression through the generations missed and prequel series via Mary Elizabeth Mastrantonio. I cannot complain about content as each was beautifully and well written and performed by the actors BUT for the last season to be so much shorter and ideas not fleshed out as well as they could be indicated that the series was rushed to its conclusion.Fantastic Series, well recommended but don't get too attached, it's far too short considering the range of myths and legends that could have been utilised.

Sci-Fi at its best
Great TV series & probably one of the best TV series that has been on the TV in years.Well worth the watching, just a shame that this final season felt a bit rushed and leaving the fealing that it could have been done better.

Grimm news
If you got hooked on Grim a while back and have followed it through up to now then this is going to be a bitter sweet final series. The powers that be chopped the run down from 22 to 13 episodes and you get the feeling that they didn't tell the writers until the last moment that the show was going to be cancelled so a lot of plot lines either get abandoned or tied up with a cursory few lines of dialogue and "off-screen" action. Still if, like me , you're a fan then 13 is still better than none. yes there are a few trending water episodes and there a a couple of episodes that seem to be more of a thank you to the cast, crew and us, the fans, than are really intended to move the story forward. Having said that, it's been fun and mostly maintained a high quality to the very end. Will be sadly missed.

It wobbled and then reset
So let's get this out the way up front I am a GRIMM fan; came to the show in late 2019. Jumped in around S3, liked it, and went back to S1 and started again.Started binging and then had to slow down as I didn't want it to end.................. do ever get like that? Some truly great storylines and so the time came when I had to spend £28 on S5 & 6.Now it did start to wobble (in my opinion) not going to say why in case I spoil it for anyone. It did finish well in S6 which pleased me but it was good enough not to end everything as one may expect!!!!!Worth the £ even if you are not a B I G fan.

Things that go bump in the night
Don't watch if you have a problem with your knees as mine knocked and trembled quite a bit watching these series!! As a rule I don't usually watch these sort of films or series as I find them far too scary!!! However, I was an avid reader of Grimm's fairy tales as a child/teenager, and they weren't exactly calm bed time reading either. However, basing my thought processes on the fairy stories, I thought I'd go for it, and amazingly I found I really liked the series and the good guys did win....and so they should!!!
