Renaissance wax will seal rosary beads that are made of wood, resin or plastic. **Q: Would this be suitable for copper jewellery to stop it going green over time?** A: As far as I know, the green appears after it has had contact with air for some time. Other items can become green if they have been buried (ancient artefacts etc). If the copper is completely clean before you treat with this wax, it may stop the oxidisation, or at least retard it. If the jewellery is worn next to the skin, this may wear over time. You might want to look at having your jewellery coated with lacquer instead. Note that you should use very little wax and a tub this size will last you a life time. **Q: Hi, is this food safe? I want to seal and protect jesmonite..** A: As far as I know it is mainly used to polish wood and jewellery sometimes metal I personally would not recommend it to be food safe **Q: Can it be used on lether shoes having gore-tex water proofing?** A: To be honest, I'm not sure about leather shoes as not sure what gore-tex water proofing is.
