My husband is a soldier and says so worth it.
My husband knows more about this than I do and he ordered. For military or those with knowledge of survival device my husband says buy.

Sayram selling duds until further notice WTF Amazon?
How sad that people are left to wonder if these "tritium vials" from this seller need to "charge-up" in the sun or direct light.. Or if they contain tritium at all. They are shipping burnt-out units people. Tritium decay should cause the tinted phosphor covering the inside of the glass to glow at it's maximum brightness for 12 years. I've always assumed when I got one it was already some years old, but this is ridiculous. Barely any glow is totally unacceptable. And we are talking Green- the brightest color; I think the orange and red are very dim naturally. I have a Green and a Blue 3mm x 22.5mm vial purchased in 2016 which both shine like new. They're the standard level of brightness to which I compared the new Green units received from seller "Sayram" July 2025. But it also says "EveryDayCarry" and there is a mainland China company address. Based on my experience with two duds now -and a replacement third I'm not holding my breath about- and considering the reviews being all negative, it seems this seller is not concerned with the poor response to their products. I'll play their little game though, and I'm going to keep replacing and returning until they send a fresher, usefully bright Green. That way I figure Amazon will get interested and perhaps get them to act right. In the image is a Blue I've had since 2016. Blue is the brightest after Green. The new Green I just purchased from "Sayram" is so weak it appears not to glow at all on camera. In totally dark space, if you wait until your eyes relax and adjust, and you hold it right up to your face- you can identify a very low green glow. Useless

Barbie size
I thought this was a regular size straw. But it wasn’t even big enough to put in a cup. The description on the product was incorrect and there’s no use for this thing. Do waste your money. The only good thing is it dose glow in the dark.

It will definitely glow when it's properly charged with a light source
It's a good looking product and I use it as a key fob or it can also be used as a zipper pull

Not tritium. They dully glow in UV light.
These are advertised as tritium. They are a waste of money. Also they are glass and delicate.

Not tritium! Needs charging.
Glows bright after being charged with ultraviolet light. Definitely not tritium. But for a quarter of the price 🤔 it's worth it.

Disappointed
Was far from what I expected. This item was the as wide as a toothpick and shorter than a pencil grip. I kept this under UV light and several other types of lights and it did not glow as described. Very disappointed.

Not a Glowing Review
Ordered 2 of these for use on key rings as previous tritium vials have come in handy to find misplaced keys. Unfortunately, both arrived well past their useful half-lives and were totally devoid of luminescence. On the plus side since I'm a little older than most, the absence of radiation on the key ring in my pocket means my flagging T level isn't unduly compromised.......
