So we got this teapot,, used it, and sent it home with him as a lovely-looking present! The ample screen insert takes either loose dry tea leaves, loose fresh leaves like mint, or teabag(s). Preheat it with hot water you then pour out, heat up water and when it JUST comes off the boil/bubbles, pour it in over the tea/screen. Good fitting lid and good pouring spout. The cast iron inside is lined. The tea stays hot in the pot a long time. Aaah! So this is what all the fuss is about, yum!
