Once the build process is complete, the finished product is as indicated in the product photographs. The build process, however, is a bit of a nightmare.First, be aware that this bed comes flat packed in three large boxes. The instructions also indicate you’ll need only a screwdriver - that was a lie. You will absolutely destroy your hands if you try to tighten all of the hex screws with the Allen wrench/hex key that is provided, so a screwdriver with a 5/32 hex bit is a lifesaver. You’ll also need a drill for a lot of the portions that have screws as there are several steps where you’re drilling your own holes as none are provided for you. Don’t even think about attempting this build by yourself, and two people may not even be enough to make sure the frame is stable while you attempt to thread screws in where they belong! Glad I won’t be going through this build again!(P.S. - You’ll probably want to add a bit more structure to the frame to stabilize it more!)

Assembly was hard to put together. Definitely takes 2 people. There were many instances where boards split or looked damaged during assembly, even when bolts/screws weren’t fully tightened. Many parts were numbered wrong and you just had to figure it out on your own. Took like 7 hours to assemble, using power tools rather than the tiny wrench they provided.

My daughter and I loved the storage and space this bed looked to provide. However, the wood is very cheap quality. Two pieces came cracked already. It was missing one piece altogether! The holes don’t line up with where they’re supposed to be when putting it together. I saw others mention this in their reviews, and completely agree! Terrible to put together and cheaply made.
