A nice collectible for fans that also has a practical use
This is a nice officially licensed collectible for what is not only the game of the year for many but commonly considered the best of all time. The artwork is printed immaculately. If you decide to break the seal and attempt to actually use it for its stated purpose, it's quietly effective. The light illuminates the entire front and the artwork well but there's extra brightness between the mountains and Link which gives the impression of a sunset. It's attractive and offers modest, moody lighting to the surrounding area. This would not be a bad companion while playing Breath of the Wild itself handheld on the Switch. The USB cable that comes with it is just shy of 5ft. It will work with any USB socket and the end that plugs into the display is the standard micro USB that you get with moat things nowadays. As for the on/off function, it's the only place where the product is a little disappointing. I have to give the front a bit of a bongo smack to get it to comply. If you've got it hooked up to the mains, you can turn it on and off that way. If you're using batteries, operation isn't exactly elegant.

Love it!
I'm new to the Zelda franchise, but with BOTW being such an amazing game I couldn't resist this canvas print.Speaking of the print, it is excellent quality, and I have to say the official product pictures do not quite do it justice. The wrap around design makes it look great from every angle, and when powered it gives off a nice warm glow. I have mine hung on the wall powered by batteries, as I couldn't stand a USB cable danging down the wall. On the positive side, battery usage appears to be very low so it shouldn't be too expensive to use on battery power alone. My one complaint is that 'tap to activate' is a little hit and miss, figuratively speaking. I find the bottom right hand side to be most sensitive, with a heavier hand required for the rest of the canvas, resulting in a loud 'bonging' sound when used!Aside from this, I can highly recommend this print for any Zelda fan. It looks awesome hung up in my room, and always gets compliments when fellow gamers come around.

A light that will guide the true hero...
Using the artwork from inside the Breath of the Wild case, this is an essential piece of Zelda memorabilia!About the size and dimensions of a block of A4 printer paper it’s the right size to pass off as authentic painting, even upon close inspection - the detail is so good that you can’t make out it’s a printed image, while it’s not so small it’s unnoticeable on your wall.Powered by USB (preferred for me as you can plug it into your computer, or if like me, power it off spare ports on the back of your TV) or x3 AA batteries it gives off a warm light that’s not too overpowering, but does slightly wash out the image. The product video shows you can turn it on by tapping it. I can’t get it to do this myself and there’s no instructions showing how - I can’t even feel a button, so I just unplug it when i want to turn it off.USB power is a great battery saving option, but the back doesn’t come with a wire tidy. So while it looks fantastic hung up, keeping the cable discrete is a small issue - along with placing the base flat on a surface if you don’t want to hang it - the cable can just about be inserted with enough bend it doesn’t tip forward on you.Sadly, at the moment this is the only canvas produced in the series - I’ve checked. This is something that would look great as part of a triptych series or with similar accessories. Right now, it has pride of place opposite my Tri Force Light (licensed and produced by the same company), inspiring me to explore and climb every mountain (in game and in real life).

Beautiful piece of art, well made and can be used to light a corner of your room
This is a really nice piece - it's game themed but also tasteful: the art is beautiful and the build quality is great. The picture is high quality and captures the game wonderfully. The printing finish is perfect, and the colours are vibrant and thick, there are no thin patches or inconsistencies. The light is probably too bright for a night light, as it illuminates a corner of our dark lounge, but this is great, and adds value in my mind - the piece serves an extra purpose. The way the light is positioned within the picture makes it look like the sun is making the image glow, which is lovely. The light can be powered either with batteries or the (plenty long enough) USB cable. Both options work well. You can turn the light on and off by tapping the frame, something that I tested a lot and found to work fairly well but not consistently. All in all it's a lovely looking piece of art, with an extra dimension. It will please any Zelda fan, and is beautiful on it's own, quite aside from the game affiliation.
