My 31 year old loves it!
Having a hard time getting my old girl to eat feed. She has cushings so is super picky.Tried equerry mash and pink mash, she really wasn't bothered about either of them. So in desperation I bought this for her to try. She absolutely loves it so hoping I might get a bit of weight on her before winter.

Very palatable and enjoyed by the pony
Excellent food for my pony, he’s only got one top tooth left. He enjoys it and holds his weight very well. I feed alongside fibre beet with a little Allen and Page weight gain mix plus some cool mix, more dribbles on the floor than in his mouth never mind it does give him some nourishment, but he manages to eat all his Veteran Vitality. Excellent delivery. Thank You

. Remember you know your horse
I was very disappointed in the Allen and Page Veteran Vitality Horse Feed. I stupidly bought 2 bags having read the reviews, It is not what I would recommend to anyone with a ageing horse. I am in no way blaming the supplier, the bags arrived well parcelled and very quickly.

Mix it with high fibre weight gain and chaff it's really good for senior horses
This feed goes with weight gain feed highly recomened to buy either on its own or with other feeds good for coat feet and also weight it's easily mixed and soaked doesn't take long pellets based but really good for horses who suffer tooth lose in elderly ponies and horses

Good feed for older horses
I have a returned 27 year old gelding who has cushings and also lost a couple of teeth and this feed is great for keeping him going through the winter. He also has NAF Pink senior supplement which I think is a good combination.
