Disappointing Experience with Detached Rubber from Table Tennis Bat
unfortunately, it arrived in less than perfect condition. To my dismay, the rubber on the bat was torn, impossible to play with. The packaging wasn’t damaged, so it’s clear this wasn’t a shipping issue but rather a quality control problem. I expected better, especially for the price I paid. Overall, I’m really disappointed. I can’t recommend this bat / dealer to anyone looking for a reliable piece of equipment. Save your money and look elsewhere!

I can't say enough good things about this AirBlades PeaceMaker table tennis paddle! I play table tennis at a pretty high level and this is the first paddle that felt natural in my hand at first contact. That's likely because of the slightly curved handle, which makes the paddle rest naturally in the palm and fingers. One small drawback -- the only one: If you like to twiddle (quickly flip the paddle in your hand in the middle of a point) it's not easy to do that with this paddle. I should add that -- generally! -- twiddlers are VERY advanced players, and I'm only advanced. I don't twiddle... yet. Back to the paddle. I always add a layer of paddle handle tape, because I have very big hands, and ALL table tennis paddles are too thin in my hands initially. Last night after I put on a roll of handle tape, I used the paddle to play some of the best table tennis I've played all my life. I have three main rivals in my table tennis club, and each guy plays a very different style from the others. GENERALLY, on any given evening, I have good success against two of the guys, but the third one gives me fits. This is the fault of the fact that my own game is not as adaptable as it needs to be. Not last night! I was nearly perfect on the night. I won all my matches against all the guys, and lost only one game. We generally play best two out of three or three of five, and all my matches except one, went the minimum, with me winning all the games. Ten matches! Perfect record. Except that one game, darn it! With the PeaceMaker paddle, I very quickly gained confidence and was able to serve effectively to maneuver my opponent into giving me a great third ball opportunity, which I then executed... all night. Also, I was able to regain the initiative in points that seemed lost. That made for some EPIC points all night, with me taking most of them. I play a very offensive game, and my forehand and backhand drives were deadly last night. I was hitting the ball low in its trajectory, and landing it a foot to a foot-and-a-half in, with no problem. After clearing the net with plenty of room! With a lesser paddle, with lesser rubbers, those shots are nearly always long and off the table. Hit a few of THOSE shots, and see what it does for your confidence! My defense is pretty good too, and I was making some great saves last night. I suspect that it was the added confidence from my red hot offensive game, because there's only SO much that a great paddle can do for you! Here's the important takeaway for me: This paddle performs so well that it'll boost your confidence for your strong points, which will automatically make your weaker points much stronger. The rubbers on this paddle are grippy and consistent. There was no diminishment of performance in this paddle from the beginning of the evening to the end. The grippiness is what made for my strong forehand and backhand offense. I also have several of AirBlades' other paddles, and I love them too. So, this Peace Maker is my upgrade to the top of the line AirBlades paddle, and I can report that I'm thrilled to have it! I should have upgraded to this paddle a long time ago! Finally, this paddle costs less than $100, and it performs as well as, or better than, a $250 Butterfly paddle that I have. It's an absolute bargain for the beginner, intermediate or expert player! Recommended.

I have three of these paddles, and I got this one for my daughter, since it's billed as a "Women's professional ping pong paddle." She's new to the game, but loves it. However, she doesn't yet know as much as I do, so I'll do this review. I played with the paddle myself, and was absolutely thrilled with it. The rubbers, both forehand and backhand, are responsive, grippy, consistent and high quality. The AirBlades have a curved handle that is unique to their brand, and you can tell that it fits well and comfortably into your hand automatically. I find that it also makes it so that the paddle is automatically cocked for my forehand attacking shot, due to this handle curvature. The one drawback is that, if you like to twiddle -- the trick of spinning the handle in your hand to reverse the forehand and backhand rubbers -- you will find this paddle makes that a bit more difficult to do. I meant what I said at the top. The AirBlades Peace Maker ALC is, indeed, the best value in a table tennis paddle on the market today! For less than $100, you get a paddle that plays every bit as well as one at four or five times that price. I know, because I've played with such high-end paddles. As a table tennis player who plays at a pretty high level, I observe that good equipment is essential, and you will NOT go wrong with AirBlades. I love them, and I play only with them now! Recommended!

5 stelle meritate. Buon PingPong a tutti. Stefano.

Apart from the handle which is truly a star feature (which is why I guess the minimum 1 star is deserved), the racket is a piece of wood and I can find a better paddle for 1/4th the price of this. And I have a much better paddle for which I paid about half the price of this. Honestly don't waste a dollar on this, you'll be better served by throwing that dollar in a wishing well.
