My Favourite Pen.
This is hands down my favourite brush pen and I always go back to buy more. I'm 13 and have a small business at school making cards. They're perfect for the things I do and blend really well.

Frays quickly?
Started using this today as soon as it was delivered. Still practising and have a LONG way to go but couldn't help but notice how quickly the tip started fraying. Looked online for advice and it's recommended to use soft paperTherfore have been using my Rhodia which I believe to be excellent quality and not at all harsh/course. Still hasn't stopped pen from fraying. Quite disappointed as the reviews seemed promising (ignored many of the 1/2 star reviews as they're quite unfair - pens not arriving etc). Still have this 4 stars as it is quite pigmented and flows nicely. I've ordered the pack of 10 from the States so maybe they'll perform better?

Water-based ~ great for the work I do
📝 ‘The Dual Brush Pen is a water-based marker with water-soluble ink that can be blended and diluted with water. It features a brush tip and a fine point bullet tip’.IMO, you generally get what you pay for when it comes to this type of product and experience, the type of work, paper texture & grade all play a part.Usually a Goldilocks type of moment for me, some are too hard and/or scratchy, some too soft and some well…maybe just about right. For that reason, I always ‘try it & see’, when there is the opportunity to buy a single item because it can be an expensive hobby! It was like being back in time in a sweetie shop, exploring the 100+ different colours in this range and I absolutely love this…the colour, the way the two tips work and I hope Santa will be thinking of a couple more, next month (at the time of writing)! One end is a flexible soft brush-like tip for a more sweeping stroke, with the other one handy for when more definition is required. The tips have held without splaying or fraying and there is no sign of the pen running dry, in my experience so far.ooOoo~ TOMBOW~ ABT DUAL BRUSH PENCOLOUR: PORT RED/757‘Made in Vietnam’ooOooLarger than most in my kit, the dual-ended pen measures around 19 cm in length and is elegant in black with white contrast. The coloured cap at one end and the opposite end ‘stripe’ next to the thin cap is indicative of the colour shade within, especially useful if you have more than one. The COLOUR NAME is not on the item. There is no shirt clip but a little ridge on the large cap (image below refers) stops the rigid plastic-type, round barrelled pen from rolling around the table. The caps handily fit over or slides in the other end for safe keeping, when in use. Both caps pull off and return with a satisfactory click. It is wise to take some time replacing the cap centrally so as not to damage the tips. There is no scent in use, to my nose.Online clips are available to show the versatility of this product, far better than I can, and it is possible to download a colour wheel from the manufacturer website, also at the time of writing.Believed to be correct at the time of writing, the complete colour chart is:CODE ~ COLOUR NAMEN00 ~ BLENDER 020 ~ PEACH025 ~ LIGHT ORANGE026 ~ YELLOW GOLD027 ~ DARK OCHRE055 ~ PROCESS YELLOW062 ~ PALE YELLOW076 ~ GREEN OCHRE090 ~ BABY YELLOW098 ~ AVOCADO126 ~ LIGHT OLIVE133 ~ CHARTREUSE158 ~ DARK OLIVE173 ~ WILLOW GREEN177 ~ DARK JADE192 ~ ASPARAGUS195 ~ LIGHT GREEN228 ~ GREY GREEN243 ~ MINT245 ~ SAP GREEN249 ~ HUNTER GREEN277 ~ DARK GREEN296 ~ GREEN312 ~ HOLLY GREEN346 ~ SEA GREEN373 ~ SEA BLUE443 ~ TURQUOISE451 ~ SKY BLUE452 ~ PROCESS BLUE476 ~ CYAN491 ~ GLACIER BLUE493 ~ REFLEX BLUE515 ~ LIGHT BLUE526 ~ TRUE BLUE528 ~ NAVY BLUE533 ~ PEACOCK BLUE535 ~ COBALT BLUE553 ~ MIST PURPLE555 ~ ULTRAMARINE565 ~ DEEP BLUE603 ~ PERIWINKLE606 ~ VIOLET620 ~ LILAC623 ~ PURPLE SAGE636 ~ IMPERIAL PURPLE665 ~ PURPLE673 ~ ORCHID676 ~ ROYAL PURPLE679 ~ DARK PLUM685 ~ DEEP MAGENTA703 ~ PINK ROSE723 ~ PINK725 ~ RHODAMINE RED743 ~ HOT PINK755 ~ RUBINE RED757 ~ PORT RED761 ~ CARNATION772 ~ BLUSH800 ~ BABY PINK815 ~ CHERRY835 ~ PERSIMMON837 ~ WINE RED845 ~ CARMINE847 ~ CRIMSON850 ~ PINKISH CREAM856 ~ CHINESE RED873 ~ CORAL879 ~ BROWN885 ~ WARM RED899 ~ REDWOOD905 ~ RED912 ~ PALE CHERRY925 ~ SCARLET933 ~ ORANGE942 ~ TAN946 ~ GOLD OCHRE947 ~ BURNT SIENNA969 ~ CHOCOLATE977 ~ SADDLE BROWN985 ~ CHROME YELLOW990 ~ LIGHT SAND991 ~ LIGHT OCHRE992 ~ SAND993 ~ CHROME ORANGEN15 ~ BLACKN25 ~ LAMP BLACKN35 ~ COOL GREY 12N45 ~ COOL GREY 10N55 ~ COOL GREY 7N57 ~ WARM GREY 5N60 ~ COOL GREY 6N65 ~ COOL GREY 5N75 ~ COOL GREY 3N79 ~ WARM GREY 2N89 ~ WARM GREY 1N95 ~ COOL GREY 1[9 images attached]

Good pen. Not a beginners pen though
I bought this pen as my first ever brush pen and I found it really difficult to get the hang of because the pen is supposed to be used for large lettering (I didn't know that until I became brush lettering obsessed) and I was trying to write small. The brush split after about 2-3 weeks of using it so after that the lettering didn't look nice. The small nib on the other side is alright to use but leeks through paper. If you're a beginner I would 100% go for the Tombow Fudenoskue until you learn how to do brush lettering. They're also a lot cheaper than the Tombow dual pen. Overall, good pen, bit pricey, would buy again. (Also in my opinion, Tombow is the best brand).

I love them and the quality was defenitly better exept for ...
I ordered the black one (N15) a few months ago and was quite disapointed about it : the brush was thick even without pressure on it and the pen side was also thick as if it was already used..But I decided to let a chance to these brush pens and chose a few more ( N60,373,977,772,623,873 and 346).I love them and the quality was defenitly better exept for the 346 where I get some troubles the brush isn't as fluid as the others (like the black) and made 2lines instead of one sometimes. So is it a problem of dark colors or just bad chance well I have no clue. But it definitly desapointed me for pens that we heared so much good

super duo brush
I love this duo brush. Personally I am slow using longer brush end, but i think because I am learning to do the calligraphy with it, which is new to me. It is very smooth to write with. I have heard best to practice with other products, but will see how i go. It certainly looks good in my journal what I wrote the other day. I am looking forward to practicing my calligraphy techniques and all being well will buy an assortment of colours. Thank you

Frayed brush tip
It's my own fault for not realising that only one end was a brush with the small end being a fine-ish liner. I had presumed 2 different sized brushes. Never mind. The brush tip isn't perfect so when using, the final end/flourish can be a little messy. OK for day to day use but if you are looking for something with a more reliable professional finish every time, this may not be the one for you. It could just be that I received a slightly less-than-perfect item, the same as some other reviewers but this shows the inconsistency of the product rather than just a one-off issue.

Pricey comparing to Jap prices
unlike others I don't use it for calligraphy, mine sucks, so I use it draw stuff or highlight things on my bullet journal. if you are beginner and just practicing calligraphy don't buy these ones as they are pricey in the UK / Europe, if you import them directly from Jap, you'll pay less but there's that waiting time. There are loads of cheaper alternatives for beginners. The colour variety is mind blowing. This has a double side so you use one for lettering and fill it with the otherside
