Silk Route Spice Company Sweet & Smoky Chargrill Spice Giant Mill - 245g

I’ve got quite a few of the Silk Route products - they’re brilliant at blending so it’s not too sharp, not too sweet, not too spicy. We love this on all sorts of meats. You get masses too, it’s a big grinder so it’ll last you ages. My only gripe is that I bought it when it was £7.99, now the price has gone down! Definitely one to grab when it’s on offer.

Great seasoning for BBQ especially steaks . Big container /very easy to use and so tasty. So many friends have commented on flavour . Easy peasy fix highly recommended.

This is for the sweet'n'smoky grinder. Nice balance of mild heat, spiciness and a hint of smoke. Larger than average grinder, about the size of the salt and pepper grinders from Costco, 7 inches tall approx., so not quite giant. The taste is strong enough that it can be used quite sparingly and so should last a reasonable amount of time. A similar taste to some of the barbecue rubs that you can get, but in grinder format it can be sprinkled on in a more controlled manner. Nice, recommended.

I first had this spice mix when I was home in South Africa (different branding but same origin in RSA) and after finishing that I was on the search to see if anyone imported it here. I personally find it delicious, right mix of sweet and smoky and perfect for any meats, I especially enjoy it on steaks and chicken whether cooked in a pan, oven or out on the braai (barbecue) Knowing the price in South Africa I think it is a bit expensive here but thankfully it does last a while

Great food seasoning

I tried it once or twice one some chicken didn't really like it tho. It does smell nice but probably to salty. I have started using it in bread balls I make for fishing bait and honestly it works a treat. The carp seem to love it more than I did, so there is a plus to it just not where I wanted it. I gave it 3 stars because its helped me catch a few fish.

This a very nice spice blend. Works great in chilies, burgers, and steaks.

This stuff is amazing, I love using this spice blend on some toast over the frying pan with a bit of olive oil. It gives a very deep and smoky flavor to toast that is simple unforgettable. Highly recommend purchasing if you're able to find it at any TJ MAXX or Marshalls (They have it usually around December). However, if you're paying anything over $5 bucks a bottle, reconsider because I wouldn't spend $15 dollars for a bottle of this blend ever again regardless of how good it is.
