Should've Paid More Attention...
I'm a huge fan of Tracey Mallett's workout videos. She generally incorporates very effective ballet-style dance moves with aerobic and even strength training exercises. I have most all her DVD's and use them often. With this one, however - I was a little disappointed. It is mainly focused on losing belly fat right after pregnancy, so most of the moves just didn't seem to apply to me. My fault for not reading the video description better before buying, I suppose. She's alot more "subdued" and well--boring in this video, in my opinion. Usually she's very upbeat and motivating, without being annoying. Women in post pregnancy may enjoy this, however.

Have you lost weight?
You will not get tired of hearing people ask if you've lost weight. Who does?I was looking for another DVD workout to try and I really enjoy the setup and format of Tracey's DVD. Not only is the DVD format nice the content is amazing! I have only been doing the workout a month (very religiously I might add) and I have lost 4 inches total around the abs and waist. Not only that but I find myself standing properly which makes you look slimmer as well.I love workout DVD's since they fit in my busy schedule, but this is honestly the first DVD where I understood phrases like "pulling in the pelvis", and "strengthening your core." Other DVD's would talk about the core, but for some reason it finally clicked after watching this one.She explains things really well, but this is not an instructional video so you won't get bored with long explanations in between exercises. There is a short instructional segment you can watch if you need additional help. The workouts are seamless, you flow from one position to the next. Plus as someone said earlier the countdown clock really does motivate you. After a few minutes your abs are screaming but you think, "I can do this for another 2 minutes and 33 seconds."So if you are on the fence about purchasing this DVD here is my suggestion, "buy it!" The workouts are 10 minutes it fits nicely into any hectic schedule, and even if you can only do 10 minutes a day you will see results.

Liking it so far, I've seen better
This is a worthwhile addition to your fitness DVD collection if you're looking for a "mild" ab workout. The butt workout is actually the best part--not only does it work to tighten the tush, it also helps to shape and sculpt it. I was expecting a good ab workout but was pleasantly surprised with the glute work. Only the "advanced" abs workout really does anything for me. Probably should only buy it used if you're going to buy it at all; if you get it for cheap enough it's worth it simply for the variety of the exercises (she uses some I've never seen before). Still sort of weak, though.

I really like this work out video
I really like this work out video. I like that it has 3 different sections so you can do all or just 1 or 2. It has the time left on the bottom of the screen too so that makes it easier being able to see how much longer is left. It is a very intense work out for just the 30 mins. It also has some modified exercises so that you can work up to a higher level which I like. I will be able to use this for a while and not get bored and still be challenged. Would recommend to anyone looking for a quick but intense ab work out

Hated this DVD
This DVD is horrible - I get that some people got something out of it, and more power to them - but I hated it, and wish I hadn't relied on the good reviews to purchase this - first, it's just not shot very well, also, she has no personality - I felt like I was watching someone do a workout in a room off to the side of a library or something, it's so subdued - granted, I couldn't get past 10 minutes, so I could be totally off - but it was just not happening.All the reviews said you could use this even if you weren't a mom, but it's SO geared towards losing the "baby weight" that I felt like it didn't apply to me.My biggest gripe - she gave you no time to do the exercises! I've never seen anyone do that before - it was just "Okay, you're doing to do this, do 60 of those. Now you're going to do this, do 30 of those." Huh? So, unless you're right there with your remote in hand so you can pause it and actually do the exercises, you're just left sitting there watching her do them with no time to do them yourself.

A good DVD
I like this video. I workout 5 days a week, 45 minutes and find this series a good way to work on tone (Phase 1) and challenge (Phase 2) myself. The time goes by quickly and I feel like I got in a good workout when I am done. On days when I run, I do this video before going out for my run, typically 3.5 miles. It's a nice way to stretch and warm up the muscles.

Loved this
The workout is particularly effective, especially the Bonus abs combined with one of the lower body workouts. I combined this DVD (20 minutes) plus Lottie Berk Method: Muscle Eats Fat (27 minutes) and the Restorative Poses from Rodney Yee's Ultimate Power Yoga, and then Turbo Jam's Fat Blaster (30 minutes). A long workout, I know but that's what works for me.The quality of the video is quite good, and relaxed, making you feel comfortable working out in your own home. I also enjoy the option of just doing one 10 minute workout, or combining all or some of the workouts into one. Once I mastered this workout, I moved on to Tracey Mallet's Booty Barre and I've gone from size 8 to size 6, dropping 12 pounds in a month. The weight loss was also due to my limiting sugar, and following my Weight Watchers faithfully.

Awesome video for the time crunched mama!
I can't say enough wonderful things about this video. I have had 6 children in 8 years and my abs have taken a major beating. You will see great results within a few workouts. I haven't lost any weight doing this video...I've actually gained muscle weight. It is great for lifting the butt too. I personally like the second butt workout better than the first. They tell you that you need exercise bands, and a ball, but it's a killer workout without them. The one workout that does call for the ball, I just roll my towel up like a ball and it works just great trust me. So don't think you need to go out and spend that money before you get started.

NOT A BEGINNER DVD POST PREGNANCY! Not sure if majority of the women on the planet post pregnancy are a lot more fit or if this is something you need to wait 6 months to do post baby but could not keep up!

きついけど楽しいです!
ケースにはリージョン1と記載があるのですが、日本のDVDプレーヤーで再生でき、まず満足です。インストラクターのトレーシー先生がきれいで喋りも優しい感じなので、好感が持てました。エクササイズ自体も、あまりドタバタする動きがないので、気軽に部屋の中でできます。ピラティスっぽい動きが多いと思いました。ラバーバンドと、ゴムボール(脚の間に挟んで動かすためのもので、枕などでも代用可)が必要ですが、バンドなしバージョンも見せてくれています。タイトルどおり、お腹を引き締めるためのプログラムですが、1つあたり8〜10分のエクササイズが5本収録されていて、ただ単に腹筋運動、というわけではなく、さまざまな動きをやるので飽きないし、お腹にも脚にもお尻にも効く、という感じです。私には大満足の1枚でした。

上の方のレビューを見て、トレーシー・マレットさんを知りました。オススメ通り、本当に買って良かったと思っています。サンプルビデオを見て、さわやかで優しい素敵な先生だと思いました。"MAMA"とサブタイトルについていると少し躊躇してしまいます。一緒にエクササイズされている方も、二児のママです。10分の腹筋エクササイズが3つ、おしりのエクササイズが2つ収録されています。道具は、メディスンボールではなくタオルでOKです。あと、ラバーバンドと椅子とダンベルです。ピラティスがメインで、ジャンプがないので階下にも音を気にせずに済みます。一見、短い時間だと思いますが、ひとつのワークアウトに効果が凝縮されているので、続ければかなりの引き締め効果が期待できそうです。

Do not like this video. Seems too old fashioned and she's kind of annoying! It just wasn't what I was looking for at all.
