Very good
This book is nicely and clearly written, and very easy to understand with good examples. While it is perhaps intended more as a reference book, I am enjoying working my way through it from the start, which is certainly something I did not expect from a book on Grammar.I have bought writing style guides before, but this is the first English Grammar book I have bought so I can't say how it compares to the others. However, if you compare its explanations to those on Wikipedia... well those are totally incomprehensible and written in linguistic gobbledygook, whereas this book is crystal clear: which is what I would expect from a book on correct English usage, but had not dared to hope for!I very much commend it.

Good book for new teachers
I have found this book to be overall very useful as a new teacher of ESL. It is well organised and explains most important grammar concepts in a clear and no-nonsense way. It also gives common errors in explanations of particular grammar points, which has been useful to consider. A few things could be dealt with in slightly more detail, but this is a minor issue.

Perfect for TEFL students
I purchased this book when I started my TEFL course. It’s been a brilliant book. It’s been great for assignments and lesson planning. I would definitely recommend this book.

excellent
I was pleasantly surprised by how quickly this book arrived, well ahead of the estimated delivery date. The book itself is in excellent condition, especially considering it is a used copy. The pages are clean, the cover is intact, and there are minimal signs of wear. Overall, I am extremely satisfied with this purchase and would highly recommend this seller. Thank you!

Ideally divided in to logical sections it is easy to find information quickly
This is THE book to get for grammar. In fact it is required reading for some UK courses in teaching English to adult learners (e.g. CELTA and TESOL). Ideally divided in to logical sections it is easy to find information quickly. I took this with me when I went off teaching in China and left it there with a friend. Upon returning to UK, I bought another copy for myself !

Indispensable for English teachers
If you are doing a TESOL or CELTA you need this book. If you are teaching English as a foreign language then you need this book. It is the best book by a country mile when it comes to explaining grammar and giving examples to illustrate each point. I recommend it for any student learning English too. It is simply a godsend!

Detailed but dry and can be heavy going to find what you want
Technically it's hard to fault - it has good information and is detailed. However, in terms of practical use, I seldom use it because it is too dry and sometimes too detailed. The main alternative is Swan - and of the two, I much prefer the Swan book. Both are reference books and both cover pretty much the same ground. I prefer the layout of Swan (it's laid out alphabetically which can be problematic but not for long). Parrott might be more academic and detailed but for me, it's just not as practical.
