I would never buy anything else to store lunches in, bought this for my partner due to a bigger appetite, can fit a well portioned meal in the bottom and fill the top half with fruits. I love that this one comes with an additional smaller strap too unlike the original monbento, so you can take one half in. Can be popped into dishwasher or easily cleaned by hand, great for microwaving, and I've never had a spill from these products in my 2 years of constantly using them.

Awesome.Good size for my foodzies, I eat a lot. Two boxes is ideal for me. A good solid plastic too, microwaved many times for long periods and there is absolutely no warping. It is also pretty good at keeping air tight.I will be buying again as I am pretty lazy at washing up.

I was a bit sceptical about spending this much money on what is essentially a plastic box. However it has been really useful. The size works when I want a two part lunch with soup and rice and also when I want to just fill one layer with rice and bits. The little steam vents work well. The bands work to keep everything together in my work bag and the close fit of the lids means there is little chance of spillage even when transporting liquids. Some of the other monbento accessories aren't great, but I don't think you'll be disappointed with their main bento box products.

Love these boxes generally.This one is the Daddy of them all, and actually too big for me most days. I prefer the rectangular one.The good thing is it is big enough for sandwiches (though I don't use it for that).You could get a generous portion of hot food in.You could actually pack sandwiches for 4 people in, using both layers.The lids seal shut (with a vacuum) if you press then close the stopper. Reliable seal so far.Comes with 2 bands - one for using both layers and one for using only one layer.Also comes with a divider compartment/cup.You can get small cutlery under the lid.I either use one layer of this for me and the divider for a normal working lunch OR pack the whole thing when I will be carrying additional food for others in the family.Good to have in your lunchbox collection but its not my everyday one.Quality is great and washes well - looking new still.

Fantastic product, love the look of it, very practical, never had any leaks. Being using this with the metal cutlery for over a year and its held up really well. Couldn’t recommend it more.

Quality, but square is an odd shape and the lids are very hard to open.

Yes, This is what I've been looking for all of my working life! Enough room to put two meals in (I'm a nurse and work 14 hour days). It did leak soup from the side once but I think it's the way I put the lid on in a rush! Very smart, very good.

Love it, so cute and big enough to take my breakfast and lunch for work. Its expensive but should last a long time.
