I loved this book
I loved this book. The emphasis is on theraputic actions to cope with the condition. This was very smart and helpful and was written by a thoughtful woman. Thank you so much for providing this resource for us.

Not for me
I was hoping to pick up tips to deal with sluggish lymph. There are tips, but it is directed more towards those concerned with post surgery or beauty.

It's an easy and informative read (loved the larger font)
Kathleen has written a lovely self-help book for people interested in addressing many factors of a busy lifestyle, leading to a suppressed lymphatic and immune system, and resulting in swelling and edema, just to name a few symptoms. Without being too technical, she has shared her knowledge from her own experiences, finding ways to improve her own well-being and the well-being of ladies generally. As well as being a lymphatic drainage therapist, she has covered other aspects of self care including meditation, relaxation techniques, use of essential oils, sleep enhancement and ways to manage and beat stress. It's an easy and informative read (loved the larger font), and will help provoke new ideas in many when looking at oneself and finding ways to improve one's health. It would also be a good book for younger therapists to read, to learn more about their clients and to consider the many factors that help contribute to better holistic care.

Wholistic approach to swelling management
As a Lymphedema Therapist I knew I would learn something new from this book. However, I was pleasantly surprised at the broad nature of this book, to include swelling of various causes and areas of the body. It is not just for people with actual lymphedema. I liked the wholistic nature of the book, especially the section on essential oils and swelling. I with several patients who are interested in wholistic approaches, and I think they will especially enjoy this book.

This book would be good only if you have no means of doing online research. Most of the book was fairly general and kind of like an internet search summary including many web links which I'm thinking will expire over time. It is a basic book and not for those looking for a solid solution that have been already looking online. The print is large. I did enjoy that feature for those of us who have a bit of aging eyes.

I thought this would be more informative.
I thought this would be more informative. Ok as a self help book but not in depth enough for a therapist
