Put one in each cup. My family plays with pennies and use the red chips to cover the board. Put one penny in each cup if you use 2 cards place 2 Pennie’s in each cup. Like bingo you call off the cards one at a time. Place a red chip on each card that’s called on your board. For example if 5 spades is called and it’s on your board cover with red chip. If 5 spade is your center card call out center and you win the money in the centers cup, then add a penny per your number of boards into each cup again. Each board comes with 4 of the same kind such as 4 kings or 4 3’s of spade, diamond, clubs and hearts. If all 4 of your cards are covered you say 4 of a kind. You win the money in 4 of a kind cup. Every time someone wins the money in a cup you add a penny back to that cup. Like bingo pokeno is called when you have 5 in a row in a line or diagonally. Add your Pennie’s back into the cup. If all 4 of your corners are covered, you say corners and win the money in the corners cup. Don’t forget to add back your Pennie’s. Some times the game ends before all cups are empty because like bingo when you call pokeno everybody clears their boards and the game starts over. Don’t wait for all of your board to be covered. When you have corners you win the money in that cup add money to each cup and the game continues until someone says they have pokeno. To be honest with you I’ve never read the directions!
