Ooooh Very nice
Guardian Body Cam. I have to start by saying that I have a MUVI HD cam which is said to be comparable to the GoPro and is an excellent camera, but unfortunately there were features which it lacked that the Guardian has. The MUVI HD doesn't have an earphone port, infrared night vision, LED light, not weatherproof and a pretty rubbish battery life to name a few. The Guardian has all these features and more. It's so useful to be able to plug in your earphones whilst watching payback to hear the sound, which is really clear btw compared to a lot of cameras out there including the GoPro. There's rewind/forward at x2-x64 speeds and the menu function is so easy to navigate around. The instruction manual is pretty straight forward but tbh the cameras features and menu system are pretty obvious once you play around with it. I've used it at night and the infrared and night vision is AWESOME, well worth the money on its own just for this feature. Not to mention the RED LASER which you activate and point at things so you know exactly what the camera is pointing at if you've got the screensaver on. It's got Loop record with an option by pressing the "Star" to save certain VIP segments, separate video/photo/sound recording files, which are easy to view. Covering some other comments and feedback I've read, the front warning stickers come off if you want and there's an extra one in the pack if you want it on again, it has loop record, you can't delete files from the camera which is standard on cams that you can use for evidence so there's no tampering with it, it comes with LOADS of attachments which include a SWIVEL CLIP, which is awesome, there's an optional ClickFast attachment which the G1 guys will send you if you ask, time & date is changeable via menu and there is EXCELLENT email support if you have any queries or questions about the product. I've worn this at night, used as a Car Dash Cam with the included Sucker window stand which was awesome and also worn the chest harness to do some gardening. Picture and sound is clear and that's just on a standard setting. Battery life seems really good, comes with charging dock which takes 4hrs to charge for upto 10hrs record and play. It's weatherproof and feels really chunky and well made. I really like it. There are cheaper ones out there but not with the same functions and accessories that the Guardian G1 comes with. It far surpasses the MUVI HD cam that's why in selling it ;-) It's a great camera, and the quality will certainly impress you.

Amazing bit of kit and worth every penny.
I never usually write reviews, but had to for this amazing bit of kit! I love it! Worth every penny! I've never owned a Go Pro but this must be better. It's both a Go Pro and Body Camera rolled into one. Very easy to use once you're familiar with the menu's and buttons. Video recording or taking a photo is simply the press of a button (after turning it on obviously!). The picture and audio quality are fantastic, as is the night vision. Night vision can be set to automatically come on in poor light, which is very handy. The fact that the videos are time stamped and have the GPS coordinates, is also a great feature. The battery life is excellent. I've used it to record cycle rides (using the chest harness and the epaulette clip that attaches to a loop on my backpack shoulder strap) and even after being on a 6 hour ride there's still more than half the battery left recording at 1080p. However, there is no port for headphones, despite what other reviews say! The angle of the G1 unit can be adjusted on both the clips and harness, meaning you can get the correct angle when riding. The fact it comes with all the clips and harnesses really does make it excellent value for money and ready to use straight away. Charging the device is simple, using the dock or just plug it into your computer using the included USB-C cable. It would be good if the unit had a loop for a safety cord (like my Garmin cycle computer) in case it came off the clip or someone tried to pull it off. It hasn’t come off the clips, as they are secure, but something for the designers of the next model to think about adding! I can’t recommend the Guardian G1 enough.

A Very Positive But Slightly Negative Review
Ok so let start off by saying I am a security professional of 40 years standing at every level within the industry starting at static guarding up to present with security management. On to the Camera itself.. This unit is sold under different names by various sellers at various prices but the average is £139.00 to £150.00. I purchased this unit at £189.85 for reasons that I will explain shortly. The actual camera itself is an excellent bit of kit and having owned a couple of these with different sellers firmware installed I can say that the guardian G1 is a Ronseal item as it does exactly what says on the tin. Every function is easily accessible and customisable to your requirements and I could drone on about for hours BUT trust me this is a truly excellent bit of kit. So why did I buy this at a higher price ?.... Well that's easy to answer because of the attachments included. Last year I purchased a chest harness and it cost £31.99 + P&P but this unit comes with that and a shoulder harness plus loads of other bits and bobs. So where is the negative bit I hear you ask... Well its the actual quality of those bits and its connection methods. There is no Klick Fast stud included which is the industry standard for police and security alike (It is an optional extra more bucks) the actual harnesses use a quite clunky and awkward connection method with overly large screw in handles and then there is the harnesses which are made of an elasticated material with oversized plastic connection plates and are not quite good enough for the discerning professional. So although I am super pleased with my camera but not so much with the overall bundle
