I decided to look for an alternative to just catch the water instead of absorbing into a mat, along with finding a mat that is big enough to catch my dogs slobbery mess when he drinks water. Once I found this product that fit my needs I purchased it right away.Upon opening the package I was happy that it was the perfect size I was looking for to be able to cover my dog’s large water bowl. It is a silicon mat with handles on each end, zigzag grooves and a small dip on the outer part of the mat to catch water/food. Also the mat has a 1/2-1in wall to ensure nothing spills and will catch it. The quality overall is great so far as it is easy to clean and durable. It is pretty flat and will stay in place due to it being silicone. When picking up the mat just be careful as it is flimsy due to its flexibility. So far I haven’t had any issues with spillage outside of the mat and can see this product being used for a long time.
