Can you use a ordinary foot file or does it have to be a metal one?

Metal is definitely the best option. Footlogix one is excellent, but the ultimate is called Angelfeet, only available from USA and Price wise a bit on the high side with shipping but worth the wait and the cost. If it’s for personal use it lasts Indefinitely (unless you foolishly loose it like me). Also surgical grade SS so no issues with sterilising. Combined with the Footlogix spray perfect summer feet👍🏻😎
