Very visually appealing, and I like that it gives suggested variations of the recipes, eg to try chocolate chips or cherries instead of raisins. My son (age 10) likes making cakes and cookies and I decided it'd be good to make them for real instead of using the ready made packet mixes. I initially thought the book might be too young for him, but the simplicity is actually what he needed. Good book, easy to follow recipes, nice pictures.

Pictures make it very child friendly
It's great for kids as it is very visual which helps. The methods are easy to follow and fun. My only criticism is the recipe modification recommendations could do with a bit more detail

Perfect book for children! Lots of simple easy step by step instructions and alternative ingredients etc so quite flexible on what you make! My daughters going to love this book for Christmas

What a lovely book. Bought to cook with 3 year old Granddaughter. Gorgeous pictures and simple, clear recipes. We’ve loved making delicious things together. Loads of educational spins offs as well. Measuring, mixing etc.
