Not disappointed!
Finally got these components installed in my 2012 F150. Installed in front doors with MDF adapters. Tweeters were installed in factory location with some modifications. I consider myself an audio snob. I'm more concerned with sound quality than rattling my windows. These components ROCK! I've had Morel, JBL, and Rockford Fosgate, all 6x8/5x7, in my front doors. I finally settled on the Alpine type R. Also a very good SQ speaker. The Alpines now have a home in my rear doors. I haven't even broken these Pioneers in, and they are loud! Excellent mid bass, tweeters aren't too bright, overall sound is crisp and clean. Powered by an NVX JAD 800.4 amp, rated at 125 certified watts per channel, the mids thump. I was shying away from 6.5 speakers thinking I would lose bass. After reading excellent reviews for these pioneers, I figured I would give them a try. I am not disappointed! If you're on the fence about these, do yourself a favor. Buy them, supply them with some power and enjoy! You'll love them!

Incredible sound
A little bit of extra work to wire up the crossovers, but these, the z65 2-way speakers, and a good sub. Man oh man, my truck is sounding really good.

Costly investment. Worth it if you appreciate sound. I amusing a pioneer 5050 and powering this speakers with 8604 amp which is about just right. Installed them with 12 awg cables. Fronts were tts-z65ch and the read were ts-z65f. There is a difference in sound quality. The component was clearly better. No distortion, sharp and clear, and able to pack some bass. Upgraded from 1645 speakers and the magnet difference can be clearly seen. The crossover has +-3db or 0db which is a gd feature as tweeter position may vary.

Worth every penny... Best 6.5's I've ever heard... Installed in a 09 Tacoma single cab with a pioneer 390 deck,and a 2ohm z series 10" sub. The whole system is powered by 1600w max 4 channel d class pioneer amp, and wired using 99.9% ocf awg wire. By far the best sound quality I've ever heard in a car audio system. 100% recommended.

Sound is absolutely stunning
These speakers are being powered by Pioneer DX series amp at 100watts RMS to 4 at 4ohm. They are incredibly clear and precise with deep deep lows and crystal clear highs.
