I really appreciate these walking poles. I use them, not only to walk and keep me upright, but also during my routine exercises. They adjust for different heights, the grips are comfortable, and they are good quality.

Wow what great walking poles. Recent back surgery they are a game changer. Used them instead of a walker. Help me stand up straighter so my body did not become fatigued.

On the good side, these are very sturdy AND very light weight. The height adjustment is via a secure pushbutton system with numerous settings that allow you to get it just right for you. Once the button pops out in place, you can be pretty certain that it's going to stay and not allow the staff to collapse under your weight when you least expect it. There are marked guides so that you don't have to hunt for the button as you adjust. On the minus side, I'm not liking the grips much; I thought I would but I don't. They're on the short side, and the design is for a single point of grasp. You can't choke your grip up and down, say as you climb or descend a hill. Also, no loops. The manufacturer left them out on purpose, believing they're a safety hazard. I use the poles as an urban walking device. I need the loops when I want to stop and use my phone, take a picture, get my wallet whatever. The possibility of dropping a pole and having to go to ground for it, is a bigger hazard for me than tumbling down a rocky cliff and breaking my wrist. Also, on the minus side, these are expensive at the very top end of the price range. I'm wondering a little bit now if they're worth it, but don't have a set of cheapies with which I can compare. As my safety is at stake, I'm willing to errr on wasting a little money on the side of caution, so no worries here

Ordered for my husband for his unsteady stride. We took it to his PT to see if it was a good walking stick and worth trying. He started practicing with PT's help and immediately we noticed he could walk standing upright and no bending over. It is a little tricky to coordinate but with practice he will be able to hold himself upright and walk with confidence. In one day we saw marked improvement so on a daily basis he should do better. We think and medical advice is positive and worth the money.

I’ve purchased this twice in the past so I have a pair in the house, in my car and next to my yard door…

I have been having balance issues and I needed something that would make me feel more stable. My daughter picked these ones out for me and I'm glad she did. The hand grip has a wide base to rest my palm. This has increased my sense of balance as I'm walking. The rubber foot is wide as well and the rubber is non slip which is important when walking on slippery surfaces. They are slightly heavier than my previous walking poles but I find it makes me feel safer. I would highly recommend these. Oh, I tried a cane and it just didn't work for me.....the poles are MUCH better.

I ordered these to try for rehabilitation for a gluteus medius tear as I could not weight bear evenly which is slowing down my recovery and causing strain on other body parts. They are really fantastic and help me move around much more evenly than with a cane. Also far less strain on the wrist and forearm. I’m starting to straighten out my gait because of these. Couldn’t be happier. Had a question for the retailer and they were prompt and helpful.

One of the best purchases for myself! The way that these are designed have finally given me my confidence and safety factor back. I also absolutely love the core grip handle design. I’ve purchased other walking poles before, but they have collapsed on me due to their faulty designs. I highly recommend these poles if you have mobility issues or just want highly reliable walking poles for your trek.

These poles are excellent quality. I am using them for walking stability after having a knee replacement. They have allowed me to walk farther and with a proper gait.
