Love the pattern, but didn't pay attention to the "vinyl" portion of this. Vinyl and paper are not the same. Had some challenges squeegeeing (is that a word?) this flat on my walls. I guess you shouldn't attempt this on imperfect walls (just a wee bit bumpy in spots). Decided to try this out below some horizontal molding as a type of faux wainscoting. Not enough on the roll for the full room, so I made it a accent panel, errrrm spot. Lovely, subtle design.

I love the results but you definitely have to be very diligent when applying. I did apply this to my ceiling so I had gravity working against me. I had to purchase more because it did not stick and came down the first time. Here’s a few tips:1. Wash the walls!2. Put thumb tacks in at corners and midpoints to hold it up better while its adhering- can take out after a few days3. Use a hair dryer to heat the wallpaper up and smooth it out with your hand to really get it stuck on - this was the key for me!!

I used this roll to paper the inside of two shelves. It looks great where the wood was flush/flat but it did wrinkle on one panel due to imperfections. It doesn't wrap well at all, and so I had to create a thin bottom strip to complete the streamlined look on the shelf, but the strip keeps peeling down so I may have to glue it. If you're working with a clean smooth wall/surface, you will love it. If not, patience is your friend as is letting go perfectionism.
