Linenspa **Q: Has anyone had this product for an extended period time, 2 or 3 years, how does it hold up?** A: I purchased a 3" ventilated gel infused memory foam by Linenspa 3 years ago from JCP. We put it directly on our king mattress and have always covered it with a 100% cotton quilted mattress cover. Materially, the Linenspa memory foam topper is in very good condition; no rips or tears or ruts. There is slight discoloration on one or 2 edges - a yellowing. The one inconvenient and unavoidable issue that develops over the long term, is shrinkage. As often as we wash the sheets - we have to strip down to the topper and stretch it back into place. It shrinks up about 3" on all sides. That was not an issue at first. It's most annoying at the head, as it makes for a valley between the headboard and topper that our pillows migrate into when sleeping. It's a great topper - they're good for a couple years before shrinkage sets in, per my experience with them. I would definitely get another. The 3" on a firm mattress is really nice for that "settling into a cloud" for a good night's sleep feeling. **Q: How long does it take for the smell to go away completely? I'm extremely sensitive to any smell, and have major sensitivity to any and all chemicals.** A: Hi JustAnOpinion, thank you for reaching out to us.
