love it, definitely best for a shorter to average height person
A different height and back support from my old desk chair, so at first I kind of hated it. After using it a while, I love it. I am on the shorter and smaller side (5'3"), so it fits me perfectly. If you're a taller person I can imagine this would not work well for you as your shoulders would likely rise above the back support. I bought this for two reasons: Aesthetic and material. I'm extremely pleased with both. The aesthetic is gorgeous. I wanted the ivory one but was worried about staining and/or discoloration over time, so I settled for the brown-with-white and it's still a beautiful chair, I love the look of it. It suits my cottagecore/rustic room better than my old chair. My old chair was black plastic with mesh material as the seat/back, and it got crumbs and hair and all kinds of stuff stuck in it. I wanted a chair with a solid seat that would be easy to clean and that I could rest my legs up on without pressing little hole imprints all over my skin. This chair does that. I realize that's not the highest of standards, but despite my low and niche requirements, I do think this chair is WELL worth the money for most people. Despite the cost, the material looks and feels quality and the whole unit is well made and stitched beautifully together. The visible stitching adds to the look, in my opinion. While I wasn't expecting much quality for the price, this chair far exceeded my expectations. The back of this chair is not particularly ergonomically supportive, but I didn't absolutely need that, and for the price you can easily buy your own separate back-support cushion. The way the seat is designed I imagine most would fit well on it. Despite the lack of back support, it's a comfortable chair to sit on for hours. The seat remains cushy and comfortable all day, you don't start feeling lumps or hard spots like I have on some other chairs. It was easy to assemble (half hour at most?), instructions were clear. The tilt and height adjustments work perfectly for me. I love this chair and highly recommend for anyone average height or shorter.

Very Nice Office Chair For A Reasonable Price - Easy To Assemble - Good Product Support
Very good Product Support - After having this chair for a few weeks, I noticed the top bolt cover on the right arm of the chair would become loose & pop off. I put it back on a few times and it popped off again, and I noticed the bolt it was covering would also become loose and have to be tightened and re-tightened. I contacted support and noticed they got back to me immediately and requested that I send them photos of the problem, so they could assist. After contacting them I noticed that the bolt cover was somehow causing the bolt to become loose when the cover was on, and resolved the problem of the bolt getting loose by leaving the bolt cover off. After leaving the cover off I've noticed the bolt stays tight without any further problem. Wanted to mention this here as a solution for anyone else that may have noticed the same problem. Very pleased with this chair that is a good office chair as well as comfortable to lounge in. For example you can loosen the tilt control which makes it like a rocking chair. Comes with good instructions, good-fitting parts and is quite easy to assemble. I'm not the most mechanically inclined person around but I do my best to put things together if I need to do so, and I will admit that most the time, if it's possible to put something together completely backwards I usually do just that, then curse a lot about how badly the item was made, but with this I found the instructions very straight forward and helpful, and was able to put the chair together correctly the first time without any problems.

It's perfect for a female who is 5 ft
Finally a chair I can fit in that's really comfortable and I don't trip over the wheels because they're not sticking out way too far I thought that was going to do me in on my last chair so that was very important to me and I haven't yet run into the wheels walking around it in my office I thought I would push the chair in and use the arm feature which I tried once I guess I just haven't been pushing my chair in. I personally love it so far I've been using it for about two weeks. Okay this is an update since this review I probably had it for about 2 months now we'll have her as long since my last review but anyway I'm finding now that the chair doesn't go up or down I don't know if I installed the hydraulic part incorrectly so I think I have to do take them back apart and see if it I'm doing something wrong which there really was no directions other than you put the chair onto the thing and push it down it was pretty self-explanatory and that was all the directions stating but the fact that I'm pulling and pushing that lever and it's not doing anything back and forth as it states so I will investigate but like I said there was really only one way to do it including it together it wasn't like there was several options during that portion of the installation not sure if anyone else is running to this maybe I'm just not that good with this stuff worst case I'll get a hold of the company if it doesn't get figured out by my investigation. Bit still have these issues and the chair is bulky and not exactly light so I'm not looking forward to it but I will handle it.Fairly easy to put together it was just kind of a pain because I'm only about 6 weeks post hip replacement as well as I have frozen shoulder but I handled it like a boss a petite female without someone always available to put this stuff together and it can be fun until it's not...probably took me a little longer than it should have due to the above reasons but I would recommend it for me due to petite short leg status but again I don't know of anyone bigger size because if they have come over to my house I haven't had them sit on it I forgot. We will see in time if anything changes

Turned out to be horrible (updated review)
Updated review. My first review i was quite happy with it for the first month or so. It was comfortable etc. However now that ive had it much longer I have alot to say. First off, dont waste your money this chair is cheaply made and very low quality. The chair basically broke so when youre trying to sit up straight you lean 120° backwards in it. So in order to use this chair I have to balance my weight just perfectly to sit in it. I do nails so its extremely hard to keep that up. But its not just that, there is no cushion left to this chair. The armrest are hard as a board and the seat is the same way! It didnt take long to get like that either. I really wish I would havd returned this when I had the chance. I liked the looks and I loved that it was beige. And thats the last thing that didn't stay was the beige color. It turned dark as it wore in. It looks horrible now. Please dont waste your money, this chair isnt going to last you.

Better Than a Steel Chair, but No Longer Feel Safe Using
Original Review: Strange is probably the best way to describe this chair. I had mild difficulties with assembly since four of the bolt holes weren't fully exposed, but generally I'd say most of my struggle was user-related. The one tool you need (an alan key) is included with the chair, and all of the parts are cleverly stored to save space in the box. The one downside, however, is that the padding is lacking because some of that storage space was in the back pad of the chair itself. It seems to somewhat live up to its promise of being able to support my weight (I'm about 285, fluctuating up to 290 or down to 280), but the lowest height is a bit high for me, and the armrests aren't so supporting. I hear a relatively loud click every time I try to use them to stand up, along with a creak on one occasion. I'll try to update this if there are any more concerns, but overall this feels very close to 3.5 stars instead of 3. Update 1: I would like to mirror complaints about the ergonomics of this chair and its leaning problems. My back regularly hurts after using this chair for more than a couple of hours, and while it definitely beats the metal chair I was using I don't feel I'm getting my money's worth anymore. Additionally, the chair never feels like it sits up straight after a few weeks of infrequent use. Update 2: Despite me losing a significant amount of weight, the bar keeping you from leaning back too far has now disengaged multiple times while leaning. Comfort issues have persisted through multiple attempted remedies, and some bolts frequently come loose. I intend on replacing this once I have enough money to buy something name-brand, this chair has convinced me to never buy a budget gaming chair again.

Less than stellar quality.
Firstly, I must say the chair looks very nice . it’s sleek and looks fairly professional along with being comfortable. However, i must warn any future customers that the quality is a huge hit or miss. The packaging was taped haphazardly , and as soon as I opened the chair it was dusty somehow! This problem persisted into the assembling as on the right side arm rests, the chair not only did not align but 2 of the screw holes were so filled with dust that I had no choice but to not screw them in. This led to the right side of the chair having a slight opening and being less stable than the left. Other than that it was fine to put together, however the instructions should be put into different order for better ease of access in my opinion, especially if you have a smaller space to put this chair in. Overall a very alright chair, but for $100 something dollars for price I fully expected something more representative of said price. Somewhat disappointed, but still fine with my purchase. Other customers haven’t hair similar complaints to my knowledge so it might just be my chair.

Great chair! Great company!
This is a very nice chair. Well built, very comfortable and easy to put together. I put it together during a halftime of a football game. I've been sitting in it for three days now and it's been quite comfortable. Very sturdy and adjustable. A great value! 12/02/23 Update: I had problems with the control mechanism plate that mounts to the bottom of the chair. Broken weld. I contacted Neo Chair and they were very quick to send replacement plate and adjustable shock after I sent them pics of the damaged part. They were great to work with and stand by their products. I was quite impressed with their concern and fast response on making things correct. A fantastic company to deal with and they have earned a customer for life. I will be buying all my chairs from them from now on and tell all my friends how great Neo Chair is. A welcome surprise for this day and age!
