I looked at some of the cheaper vein finders but they all had mixed reviews. I then asked a seasoned nurse who works for a local hospice for her advice and she recommended this device. While it was expensive, I figured it would pay for itself in the long run. And I have not been disappointed! It almost appears to be magic. It easily shows the superficial veins in the hands and arms. The infrared camera hovers 6-7 inches over the target so it does not have to contact the patient's skin, making it easy to use both hands to easily identify the vein and make the stick. The sellers have been very supportive and have gone out of their way to make certain I was happy with the product.
