OXO Steel Y Peeler

Got this Y-peeler for peeling butternut squash mainly. It is super sharp and glides very easily. Seems like good quality build as well. Hope it lasts a long time.

This peeler is an excellent peeler – it doesn’t cut deeply into carrots, etc., removing minimal material, creating minimal waste. That is fantastic for removing the skins. FYI, it is not good for creating thin slices. I have another peeler that cuts more deeply which I use to slice.

One of the best Pro Quality peelers. True stainless steel that doesn't rust even after many months of use. Had this brand before and the quality is still the same. Easy to use on many different kinds of vegetables. Comfortable handle. Sharp Japanese blade. Dishwasher safe. Other peelers by OXO compliment this one and are recommended for all levels of cooking skills.

Does a good and smooth job peeling carrots and squashes. Did not like that the all rubber bottom was not shown in the listing. This will degrade in a few years. I wanted all metal. I needed to toss my old oxo peeler. The older good grips rubber handle got sticky after years of use. I only used to hand washed it. This one is nice looking and works good but if I knew that the handle was half rubber I would not have purchased it.

High-quality and comfortable to use. The sharp blade cuts smoothly, and the handle fits great in my hand. Worth every penny for anyone who cooks a lot!
