Not a bad knife for the size and price. It's the first time I've had a knife with this kind of lock, though. That's the one new thing I had to get accustomed to. Other than that, it's light, balanced, and easy to sharpen or hone. Good knife for the value, for sure. ***Edit: Over a year later, and this CJRB Pyrite still holds up. I'm used to carrying folders that were a bit on the hefty side, but don't let the lightweight nature of the Pyrite deceive you. This knife stays sharp. I hone it regularly with a nice, soft piece of Latigo leather. You can feel how solidly the blade has been hardened when you knock the spine against your knuckles. And for the price, this squares up with bigger brand names for its' form and function. This knife comes in handy and does its' thing well. CJRB is a brand you should look into when it comes to quality knives. 10/10, highly recommended, bumped up my review to five stars from the previous four.

It’s a budget knife that is worth buying. I prefer a flipper to a thumb stud but I also like a button lock. It’s sharp, it looks good. It’s a good edc. I watched a video of the reviewer trying to hammer a nail I two with this knife. It didn’t end well. That’s not my intention with this knife. It cuts and slices. It fits well in my pocket. It’s fidget friendly. It’s a good looking affordable basic use pocket knife. I’m glad I bought it.

Sharp out of the box. Really smooth action and feels very sturdy. Nice handle, enough room for a firm grip, doesn't slip. Very functional drop point blade, very handsome knife. All materials, fit, action seem top notch. For about $50--you can't go wrong. I find it very useful around the house and yard

This knife is lightweight yet feels solid. Blade came relatively sharp right out of the box, but a few strokes on the stone and its now razor sharp. The texture of the handle keeps it feeling very secure in your grip even when your hand is wet, which is always a bonus! Finally, my first button lock ... what have I been doing all my life ... a little flick and ... viola! The blade flies open or closed. No blade wobble, just nice and solid and locks in place. At this price point, this is a spectacular nice pocket knife! Unless you have monster size hands, this should fit nicely into most peoples paws!

There are some good things about CJRB, as they are offering some really good knives, but this one wasn't worth the money. It's relatively light for an EDC, great action, but the blade came rather dull. The factory edge on a knife costing this much should not be a disappointment, and this one was. Don't get me wrong... this is a fine EDC knife, and maybe you get one with a fantastic edge and grind, but let me tell you something right now - there are better options out there. And this ain't no Vosteed Raccoon, which is a vastly superior knife for around the same price.
