Well worth having
I have to kneel down when gardening and to be honest my knees have suffered as a result, well that won't happen anymore thanks to these wonderful knee pads. They made kneeling down a real pleasure and I was left with none of the normal sore and aching knee issues I have been suffering with. Worth every penny in my opinion.

Sturdy knee pads
These knee pads are easy to use, quite firm and heavy. They arrived promptly.

No soft padding
From the picture, I imagined that the portion from the strap to the leg was padding. It isn't. It's just the plastic continuing round to form a curve. Not a scrap of use to my arthritic knees. There's absolutely no soft padding to cushion the knee joint. What a disappointment! And way too expensive, given that circumstance. If you just want a trouser protector you can buy cheaper.

All good
I live on a corner so have a long frontage onto the pavement. Consequently I need to kneel on the pavement when working in my front garden and have endured kneeling on bits of grit when wearing shorts for ages. Not recommended! These pads work really well in these circumstances. They are not "soft and spongy", but made of what looks like recycled rubber to provide a bit of padding but, more importantly, protection from painful grit injuries. Probably too much detail here but these do exactly what I need.Single strap holds the pads in place, even when wearing shorts.

Very good knee pads.
Very good product for the job, and a fair price too. Thank you.

Too small
They satisfy the need to have a waterproof kneeling pad for working in damp gardens, but they should have been larger to give more protection and the straps are also rather too short. I don't have fat legs but there was barely enough strap to give enough velcro overlap to secure the pads. I find it hard to understand why the manufacturers skimp on the relatively cheap elasticated material of the straps thus making the pads less easy to fasten and secure.
