I have these on a UK mens size 7 and they fit well but the curve is small and i don''t thnk that they would fit well on anything above a UK 8-9.Having said that they wear well, my first pair have bbeen in use for a couple of weeks and only have a little wear. they are definatly queiter than metal segs, but are a hard plastic, so thay aren't quite as quiet as rubber. they seem to be lasting better than rubber, so it's a good balance.. Rubber cement holds these well while nailing, and isn't hard to peel them off when you need to. If you don't have a cobblers anvil thing (I'm sure it has a proper name) then a short length of 2 x4 wood works well when you need to nail these in place.

Not sure how long these are supposed to stay on. After trying these on my hubby's new boots with just the nails that came with them, we was disappointed as they didn't stay on, came off half way through dog walk, so glued them and nailed them but did not stay on for long either only a few walks so got strongest glue I could get and nailed them and they stayed on for nearly 3 weeks but not sure if this is good or not for two walks a day with the dog. If you walk with a shuffle like my husband does they are no good.

When will I learn that quality costs!?😊The material seems unlikely to be very durable (admittedly time will tell and I will hold my hand up if wrong) and holes aren’t pre-drilled + tacks are mixed length (quality?)Could’ve done with a cobblers last to get them on and using added adhesive might be a good call as I’m unconvinced they will stay on long.

These came quickly and I used them on two pairs of boots. Like a lot of people I just wear my heals down on one side. So I just stick these on that side that it has worn. I glued them as it is difficult to knock these nails in. I never pay to have heals mended it is so expensive and they soon wear down. Using these heel tips is easy to do and saves a fortune.

Good value for money, have not used yet.

very fiddly when attaching to heels, the tack heads are too large to fit into the indentations on the 'plates', so the metal stands proud and scratches against wooden flooring.
