These were recommended to me by my optician for eye health, I've been talking them regularly. Well worth the money.

My diet is short of dark green, leafy veg and my close-up vision was becoming noticeably less sharp as I got older (I'm 59). Over a year ago I read the research which suggested that a dietary supplement of lutein/zeoxanthin could improve this and began taking these capsules daily. Within months my close vision was significantly sharper and I have continued taking the capsules ever since. Buying from Time Health I have found the product to be of very reasonable price and high and consistent quality. It is always delivered promptly when I order it through Amazon.

I have been taking these daily now for a couple of years, since there had been some noted deterioration with both of my eyes, noted at a check-up and scan.I am aged 64.Since taken these I have had several more check-ups and my health health has shown considerable improvements and I no longer see floaters as I used to do.Nothing else in my diet has changed. They did need to be taken for some time as the improvements have been gradual, but consistent.Overall I am impressed with what I feel is associated with taking these, they are very easy to swallow. This type of capsule were recommended by my husbands eye surgeon to improve macular degeneration, it is the only product I have found with the Three essential ingredients, listed by Michael Moseley on Trust Me I'm a Dr. They are good value, if you intend to take this supplement. He has had his eyes tested after a 2nd cataract and they said the macular degeneration had not deteriorated further so a good result. I have now started to take them as well!

I have a hole in my left eye & PVD in my right. Consultant told me I must have an operation to rectify hole by means of a gas bubble insertion, to be followed by two weeks without lifting my head from looking down. For several reasons I could not allow myself to have the op, but following the recommendations of a BBC doumentary I embarked on a course of supplements including these, plus liposomal vitamin C & astaxanthin. I continued with 6-monthly hospital monitoring over three years & the hole shrunk slightly & remained that way. I was discharged & Doc said, " Whatever you are doing, keep it up as your eyes have stabilised." I then ran out of these Time Health supplements & failed to replace them. Six weeks later all my painful eye symptoms returned & I was struggling a lot with my left eye in particular; normal reading was a problem. I reordered & within a week am reaping the benefits of my former, improved sight. Never again will I allow myself to run out. The recommended dose is one capsule daily but I have learned that this may be too low in some cases. I have been taking one in the morning & another in the evening to be on the safe side. From my own experience, this dose has restored my sight & given me my comfort back. Oh how I wish they weren't so expensive but not complaining as they are a necessity for me so I must economise elsewhere somehow.

After laser treatment for a torn retina, I started to experience dry eye problems, which worsened considerably after a more recent bout of conjunctivitis. Coupled with lots of floaters in the lasered eye, it was making it difficult to see clearly. Eye drops gave only very temporary relief. And I found unsightly crusty deposits on the skin around the eye. After seeing videos on YouTube I thought I'd go see how this product performed, even tho' it's not specifically for dry eyes or floaters. Anyway, it appears to have almost brought the curtain down on the dry eye issue, improving it by maybe 70%. Unfortunately it's a disappointment as far as floaters go, but hoping other actors (Bromelain & L-Lysine) might help there.

I have taken Macushield supplement for several years since being diagnosed with AMD, and several optometrists have said they do recommend this. However, when looking to buy my most recent supply, I saw that the Time Health formula contained exactly the same concentration of the three main ingredients at a considerably lower cost, so I decided to order these instead. They arrived very quickly, sensibly packed in a small flat cardboard box (so no excessive packaging) and in a simple resealable pack rather than blister packs. I am very happy with this product and will certainly use it in the future.I have given it four stars rather than five simply because I am not aware of any concrete proof that such supplements are beneficial, though I like to think taking it does help my eye condition.

Have seen the documentary detailing the study of the effects of the included ingredients I tried a product which appeared to have the same but was disappointed to find it was somewhat lacking, so searched and found this one (at the same price) and was delighted to find this does have the correct formulation and appears to be ethically produced.To be clear the study stated the ideal formulation is 10mg Lutein, 10mg Meso-Zeaxanthin and 2mg Zeaxanthin which is exactly what these contain. :)Having taken these for over 4 months now (I'm on my second pack) I can say I feel there is some improvement, but till I have my next eye test I can't say for definite. Please note these are for the health of the back of the eye and not for any dry eye condition, so if that's your issue look elsewhere.EDIT: Having now taken these for some years and at me last eye test proved that my prescription has gone back to what it was 4 years ago!! so will definitely be continuing with these.Highly recommended.
