Review: Ignore bad reviews - read this instead - You should try Serious Protein Chocolate. I am pleased with my purchase - it works very well - here's how: Purchase: my 4KG tub came in perfect condition; the lid was well sealed with sellotape making leaks impossible. I was clever enough to have saved a scoop from other purchases, so did not need to dig around inside. Use: It shakes and stirs into water well, in fact easier than some other protein powders. That taste of the chocolate powder was as I expected - as described in good reviews. Admittedly the chocolate taste is not strong. It is a bit like a weak chocolate Horlicks sort of taste. You can drink it down quite easily. The dummies who leave bad reviews seemed not to have figured out this simple solution to the flavour: you can add another chocolate powder to increase the taste if you wish! Genius! I bought some chocolate cocoa powder and sparingly added that to boost the taste, when drinking it. However, that is not the main way I use Serious Protein Chocolate. I actually add it to my mix of porridge oats & muesli. In fact I don't want my breakfast to taste like a child's so the mild malty chocolate taste of Serious Protein Chocolate is actually an advantage to me. It makes my breakfast taste really good now. You should try Serious Protein Chocolate. Extremely good value protein powder, I've always paid under £30.00 for this product and in my opinion it's very tasty when mixed with milk, its not as nice with water but still drinkable, it mixes easily with a shaker mug no lumps with a vigorous shake,I've now reordered this 4 times, iam seeing good results and iam more than happy with it,

This is actually my first ever 1 star review. Normally I’d just move on, but I genuinely feel like I need to warn others about this. I only bought it because it seemed like great value 4kg for around £30 is much cheaper than most other brands. I read a mix of reviews and decided to take a chance, thinking at worst it would be okay for the price. Unfortunately, it was far worse than expected. On the positive side, it arrived quickly and when I first opened the bag it actually smelled quite nice. I couldn’t find a scoop inside, but I had a spare so not a huge issue. However, the taste is absolutely terrible. There’s no real hint of chocolate at all, and the aftertaste is honestly like smelly feet, really unpleasant. I gave it another chance using 2 scoops with 500ml of water, but that made things even worse. The consistency turned thick and glue like, and the taste somehow became even more unbearable. I even tried giving it away to friends, and every single one refused after trying it. It’s so bad I couldn’t even give it away for free. Really disappointing purchase, cheap for a reason. Avoid.
