Super cool windmill combines science with fun and function
My 17-yr old and I really enjoyed putting this together. The package contains more than we expected. Ours included a test bulb (not just the string lights) and a temporary PVC mount that was sturdy enough to stand up the windmill and blow a Dewalt shop fan on it for a successful test. Easy to assemble. Great instructions, perfect fit, even a spare nut, bolt, and blade. Bonus screwdriver and wrench included in ours. And it works!

Fun DIY product, great backyard decoration
The media could not be loaded. So many fun after purchased this DIY wind turbine generator, great S.T.E.M gift for kids and unique backyard decoration. Easy to put all the parts together, my 4 years old can help and learn from it. Also have potential to add on your own idea, I added the snow flake LED light myself to welcome the first measurable snow on 2023.I connected two more led light strings to the wind turbine generator, it still work as usual, super cool watching all strings light up at the same time at windy days.Buy one more set half year later. Very high quality product, spinning very smoothly even in the breeze, and stay strong in high wind. Pretty led light strips light up at night, enjoy watching it day and night outside my windows.

Excellent Fun Project
This was a tremendously simple and fun project to do with my 6-year-old granddaughter. The product is great fun, simple to put together and great to teach the youngsters simple basic principles.

Nice works great
I liked it but wished it could charge more than a bulb? Would like it if they could make it to be able to put out 5-20 watts to trickle charge my solar generator or something but aside from this it works very well

Makes for a nice wind powered light feature
I put this in my back yard and when the wind blows it makes for some nice looking party lights. Fun to look out and see how windy it is by how bright the lights are.

Really Great Experimental unit
This little unit is really very good for teaching about wind energy! 3 phase with rectifier to change it to dc voltage, it produces enough to charge some small batteries. It is sturdy enough for normal wind here in Kansas, but it wouldn't take a tornado (but it's not designed to, either!) For the money, it was definitely worth the value.Note: I teach renewable energy at our local college, and even though this was for the wife to play with (she wanted it, no, seriously, this was HER project to start!) it is good enough that I am considering getting a few for simple beginner labs. They just work great.

Great for wind turbine project. Modified output to power other devices.
Wind turbine seems to be well made/touch. My son had no problem putting it together on his own. Primarily used indoors for a middle school engineering project. Worked very well for this. Voltage output goes up to 13V or so. Three phase motor output so that bridge rectifier has less variation than a simple rectifier. Output power was around 0.25W at 5V (with just a few tens of mA of load current, the voltage drops to a few volts). Connected bridge rectifier output to SparkFun Buck-Boost Converter COM-15208 and then to LiPower - Boost Converter PRT-10255 (used 4.7V zenir diode at input as OVP). Both circuits could power "Dual USB Output Super Slim Power Bank Ultra Thin, Attom Tech 3000mAh Portable Charger Mini External Phone Battery Pack Small Dual Outlet, Emergency Phone Power Backup."

Love it
We love this windmill power generator. It was easy to put together and our 2 year old loves it. Bought it for his playground/treehouse. We can also use it to gage wind. Fun gadget and educational for kids
