Thoroughly enjoyable.
Detailed and entertaining as always with Bill's books. I haven't read it all yet, just dipped into skills that I hope I'll never need but good to know anyway.

Potentially Life Saving!
I've read a few of these survival books now and as much as I love them, I really hope I'll never have to use the knowledge. This one's well written and an easy, informative read. Great to dip into and some top tips for tricky situations. Hopefully I can steer clear of the dangers in the first place, but I'm very happy to know there's a chance of escape if I ever wake up and find I've been buried alive in a coffin.

Low quality, poor presentation
A compendium of superficial responses to "disasters", but printed on rubbish paper with a couple of cartoons and no illustrations of the various "hacks" suggested. It feels like it was culled from various online sources in a few hours, cobbled together, and then printed for the cheapest price possible. For a book like this to be of any entertainment value, it needs to feel a little more thought through and when you're describing things like knot-tying, you need to splash out on a few drawings. Disappointing.
