KES Quarter Turn Tap Valves/Cartridges with Metal Lever Heads 1/2" for Kitchen Bathroom Faucet Bid Tap, Chrome, PCH200A3-CH

The cold tap lever kept jamming when I turned it on. You could work it and it finally use to start to function. Then one day it sort of failed. I blamed a loose screw keeping the tap head on, but when I removed the valve I closed it and blew in the end and air could be heard leaking from the side vents. I bought this set thinking what am I getting for a tenner? Surprised when they turned up. At first glance I thought they looked cheap. They were lighter. The body thinner with a slight height difference, shorter at the top. But I fitted the part in a minute and it did not drip. I was going to use the old tap heads but the new ones that came with the kit were dinky and fitted perfect. I only replaced the cold valve, so the new smaller head was slightly raised on the old hot valve. But hardly noticeable. Also the new valves had an extra mini cross filter which the old ones did not have. I blame some old plaster crumbs falling in on the old set when I refitted the bathroom. So overall, right now these did the job. Time will tell regarding longevity. I give them five stars across the board. Photos, old on the left and above to the right.

I bought these tap valves/cartridges with metal lever heads because the head/handle on an existing mixer tap had worn lose and I wanted to replace the handles without incurring the expense of a whole new mixer tap.The handles appear to be of pretty good quality and fitted fine on my existing cartridges with no problem at all. They have a slightly smaller exterior diameter than the original tap handles but I can live with that, and I'm someone who normally can't stand things that don't look perfect.For just £8.50 I have a new pair of tap handles and still have a spare set of cartridges/valves should I ever need them.My only criticism is that the taps are supplied with steel rather than brass screws. To avoid any issues with corrosion (my understanding is that steel reacts badly when in contact with brass), I switched them for brass screws that I already had.

Refitting took only minutes. Compare that to the time it would have taken me to replace the whole tap! Once fitted there was no sign of a drip. They operate smoothly and with little effort for my old hands. If there is a drawback it's only their compact size compared to my standard tap bodies which are bulkier. But you can't have everything.

Bought these for the ceramic cartridge was very similar size and the top spline altho different from original, however they provided new handles / levers with these ! Hence i took a calculated gamble thats paid off a treat! Looks like a Smart New Tap, Very happy indeed 👍😁

These are functional but generally poor quality. Chrome plating on cap of one of the tap heads was chipped. Splines on the valve for the tap head are course, meaning it's difficult to accurately align the tap head. Do the job but I wouldn't buy again.

Took a chance they would fit,they did with slight gap, not a problem. They are lighter than more expensive ones being thinner, however that was expected for the price.

I could not remove the washer from my 'brass bit' inside the tap as the screw was stuck tight. These were really easy to fit, i did it in less than ten minutes! They are good quality. The only downside for me was that i would have liked them to have been bigger as they are for use with a large kitchen mixer tap, but otherwise, they saved me a plumbers bill!

Neat. short arms avoids applying too much torque, only light pressure needed to open/close valve. Fitted in minutes once water turned off at mains. No red/blue caps to indicate hot/cold on caps though.

son un poco mas grandes que otros similares que habia usado pero funcionan bien y son muy comodos al solo tener un cuarto de vuelta.se cambian en 5 minutos

Ich bin sehr zufrieden mit diesem Wasserhahnventil. Es ist nicht nur preiswert, sondern wird auch mit zwei Hebeln geliefert, die oben auf das Ventil montiert werden können. Diese Hebel passen perfekt und ermöglichen eine einfache Bedienung. Die Verpackung war ordentlich und sorgsam, was die Installation zusätzlich erleichtert hat. Das Ventil funktioniert einwandfrei. Klare Kaufempfehlung!

Installés sur mon évier de cuisine ( avec poignées séparées de chaque côté du col de cygne ) et le résultat est parfait!!Les commandes sont prévues pour être symétriques ( froid à droite antihoraire ).Les joints inférieurs ( rouge et bleu ) ressemblent à du silicone et inspirent confiance.Bien emballés, parfaitement étanches, bien finis, pratiques et prix très correct: je suis 100% satisfait!!!Bricomachin et compagnie peuvent aller se faire voir!!!!
