Cost effective and eco-friendly
These pods are a great/eco-friendly and cost effective! The instructions aren't very clear (badly translated into English.) However they are straight forward to use, just make sure that the hole on the pod's lid is lined up with your machine's piercing spout. Particularly useful if you enjoy a type of coffee that is not in the Dolce Gusto range. I've yet to discover how many uses they are good for but they've got to be a cheaper alternative to DG boxed coffee pods.

Waste of money and will be going in the bin
not worth buying, they don't work as described. Most of whatever you put in them stays inside and leak. Waste of money and will be going in the bin.

They are great, but a bit soft...
These have worked well, but not held up too long, I find myself wondering if they come in a stail=nless steel variant. they have stopped seating correctly in the coffee maker, and so you land up trying to line the hole up with the punch which is a bit fiddly. the punch has now made a few holes in the plastic lid. The concept is good though.

Good, does the job
The pods are good, work fine with no issues. You need to make sure the pods are correctly lined up with the mechanism which, on normal Dolce Gusto pods, punctures the hoe for water to be pumped through to brew the coffee but this is quite easy.Once you put the pod into the holder and gently turn it to position the hole, you can feel a slick click as it gets to the right position.Another point is cleaning. The lid has a little basket shape underneath the water hole but this cleans easily with a small brush to remove any coffee grounds. The filter on the bottom of the pod also clicks out so again, this is easily cleaned. So overall, these are very good. The reason I gave 4 stars is the pods are plastic and don't feel very durable. In particular, the little plastic strap that the lid is attached by seems likely to snap if too roughly handled, but also with hot water etc, might perish or become weak and brittle over time.

Lasted less than 4 weeks
Only had a month and the seal Around the lid is loose. This means it pops open or doesn’t have a solid seal to allow the pressure/water to extract the coffee. Left with a watery coffee with minimal Flavour.I’ve tried filling the capsules 2/3, 1/3 and 1/2 and the kids come loose.

Eco-friendly Freedom of Choice
I bought this set as I was conscious of the fact that:a. You are limited to the content choices of the pre-filled Nestle Dolce Gusto capsules;b. Original Dolce Gusto capsules are expensive to use especially if you like a few cups of coffee/hot chocolate etc in a day;c. Original Dolce Gusto capsules are not recyclable (ok, there are some YouTube videos have hacks but I found them to be rather messy).I have had these capsules for a week now, I have used the green one at least 2-3 times a day. After 10 or so uses, the lift tab snapped off however this has not affected my ability to open it - the hinged section to lid showing signs of weakening so now store capsule open to reduce wear and tear. Only really been using green one so far, just to keep track of the number of uses from it. It's been used about 20 times now & hoping it will last at least that long again.I have been using a few different ground coffees with the capsules: Aldi Italian Blend, Lyons No 4 & Grumpy Mule Decaf and am happy with the results using a spoonful of coffee (the spoon was included with set) tamped down into capsule. Depending on your particular choice of coffee, I think that these capsules perhaps need to be looked more as being eco-friendly & for providing a freedom of choice rather than solely as a cost saving exercise:A £3.99 Dolce Gusto 16 drink pack work out at 24.9p/cup. The capsules, assuming 100 uses = 9.9p per cup + cost of coffee. With the Aldi Italian Blend I reckon I should get around 30 cups out of a £1.69 for a 227g pack (5.6p/cup so 15.5p total) means saving 9.4p/cup. However, using the Grumpy Mule Decaf at £4.99 for a 227g pack the per cup cost, using the capsules, works out for me at 26.5p total so a wee bit dearer than the DG Lungo or Espresso Decaf pods.Pictures show cup of coffee made using the capsule with Aldi Italian blend.

Happy with the purchase.
Used with Dolce Gusto "Jovia" machine. The Jovia is not listed as a compatible model on the leaflet which came with the capsules - however it works well for me,Has clear instructions. Followed it carefully (need to vary the way you fill the capsules depending on the coffee used) - I have not suffered from "hot spurts" mentioned in another review yet but will update this review if this changes.Extends the range of coffees and drinks that can be made with the machine. Fab!

Bueno y practico
