HOZELOCK - Multi-Tap Connector 2-Way : Ideal for Creating 2 Circuits on a Single Tap, With Independent Flow Valve for Each Outlet [2252 0000]

I really like the quality of these, they feel like fairly strong plastic. I bought one a couple of years ago and it is still working, so I would say it's quite durable. The connectors have a rubber seal which help prevent leaks and I've not had an issue, especially when using PTFE tape before screwing them on.It also has another connector at each end so that in theory you could daisy-chain these together and allows you to swap between the supply coming in from the left or coming in from the right.I connect mine to some Sonoff SWV (Smart Water Valves) so that I can automate all of the watering of the plants and the grass.I would recommend bringing it in over winter though to increase its lifespan and especially so that water doesn't freeze in it. You can take it off easily because you fix the bracket with a hook on it to a wall (or in my case a small post) and then you just slot the 4-way connector into the hook.The individual taps allow you to either fully open or partially open the value for each tap, which can be quite useful for irrigation systems where you might not want the full pressure.I wouldn't say that it's particularly cheap, but I've bought cheaper ones before and you just end up buying more of them in the same time period.

we had this for 7 years now and the valves open and close reliably.we alsways left it connected, and now is has started to leak and a fine spray of water escapes from the back side of the unit (main body consists of two parts..It had a good run and given the prive we paid, I am happy.

This item was purchased as my one was getting old . I went for this product as its made by the same company as my previous one. So sure I'll keep this one for many years to come. Well worth the price.

I bought this item to replace a Y type splitter that constantly kept leaking. This product is robust and well made, easy to use and no leaks thus far. Gives the ability for me to use front and back watering hoses and is also fairly compact and discreet. A little pricey for a piece of plastic but if it lasts then no worries.

Saves a lot of time changing the hose pipe.

Read all the reviews escpecially the negatives, but bought it anyway to make my own mind up. Glad I did.It's perfect for me but it was bought for my wife because of the on / off rotating dial which are large enough for small arthritic hands, rather than the little lever types, my wife struggled with to open. I use all 4 of the connectors which supply various gardening items Watering the garden/pond/cat scarerjet washer and have no issues especially leaks.. Hozelocks are generally very good and this is no exception. Sturdy strong and a doddle to install and use

OMFG!The quality of Hozelock products just gets worse and worse.One of the connections was fine and then, while I was out, it failed and I was left with the water running full on for hours.I have a hose reel that the connector drips constantly and you can’t stop it.The hose is so stiff it’s difficult to use.So this is the last hozelock product I’ll be buying.
