Victorinox Sentinel Clip Swiss Army Knife, Large, Multi Tool, 5 Functions, Large Locking Blade, One Hand, Black

I've had several Victorinox knives since 1983, from a basic Excelsior, then a Spartan up to the Huntsman models. This is the first single-blade Victorinox I've ever bought and it's brilliant! Light, razor sharp, easy to open one-handed and the liner lock is solid. I know it's not legal UK carry, but let's be honest, there are people walking around with machetes that never get caught and the chances of actually seeing a police officer is practically zero.This is the cheapest I've seen this knife and that was the reason I finally bought one. Top quality, definitely would recommend.

This is a fantastic and well crafted knife. Very easy to open one handed with both left and right hands though it does require two hands to close it safely. At the base of the knife it also has tweezers and tooth pick included as well. Its incredibly sharp straight out of the box. Can't fault it one bit and for the price it's an incredibly handy tool to have. A must buy in my opinion

Has the usual Victorinox quality, however it's a little slippery in the hand and that makes it hard to open.

I had been using a multi-tool as a pocket backup around the house and found it a little chunky in the pocket. I had to stop to investigate the tool and use both hands to open. The tool I used mostly was the knife.Victorinox has a good reputation and the blade on the sentinel facilitates one hand operation. I understand the concerns around the lock being the other way to expectation but I can still unlock it to fold the knife (again, one handed against my leg) before I use the integrated clip to secure it in a pocket (the "condom pocket" on most trousers is really handy for this). The blade arrived surprisingly sharp. Hopefully I can maintain/ improve this. I still have my multi tool available but now simply opening and closing a knife no longer slows me down.
