Note : This subwoofer is stupidly cheap at Richer sounds (£5) because it's a very poor design (it's frequencies cut of is around 1.2KHz???) I trialed this on a normal speaker first and the drop in high frequencies was as one would expect/hope. This filter adds around 0.6 Ohms of imedence which is no big surprise, the main thing is, it corrects the subwoofers bigest design flaw So for about £40 all told I now have a pair of awesome subwoofers correcting the shortcomings of a baseless set of bookshelf speakers (wired to a second channel on the amp).
