These are handy and fairly powerful little torches and represent good value for money. However, there is no way on earth that they produce the lumens advertised - but did you really expect them to at this price point? On the brightest setting the 'silhouette' of the light is an odd square with 2 notched shadows which is weird, but essentially it's a torch and it functions as one. If you want the brightest blinding billionty lumens torch, this isn't it. But if you want a couple of torches for the house/car to use as required, these are perfectly good, sturdy, bright and worth the price of purchase.

I have only had them for a few days, but so far so good. I keep one in the car and the other i use for walking the dog. It is easy to use and feels quite sturdy. You can easily vary the range of view fom long to short. I must admit I didnt fully read the description before ordering and expected just to plug in the torch to charge it but it comes with a seperate charger which means you have to take the battery out of the torch to charge it, The charger itself seems quite flimsy and as both batteries come fully charged i havent had the need to use it. There is also no indicator light to let you know if it is charging. So all in all for the money I cant complain.

This torch as I say is excellent for the price. Well made aluminium body with glass focus lens.The 3 brightness settings enable longer battery life. Takes 2 types of battery including standard AAA size which is very handy and an underrated feature of many newer torches.If your looking to light up a football field buy something else, but for most things this will prove very adequate. The switch may annoy some as every time you turn off you advance 1 mode each time you switch back on. This will lead to unnecessary switch pressing and it will probably be the switch that is the weak point of this torch, as with others, however saying that, at this price it is a minor complaint. The flood and zoom pencil beam range is very good for a tiny low powered torch.Here are some technical details I recorded.@ 4v ( 3 x 800 mAh rechargable AAA )Power consumptionHigh = 700 mAh - 3 Watts - 325 Lumens Light time 1.1 hoursMedium = 340 mAh - 1.36 Watts - 150 Lumens - Light time 2.3 hoursLow = 180 mAh - 0.72 Watts - 75 Lumens - Light time 4.4 hoursAt the end of the runtime you still have usable light but nowhere near the initial intensity. This is to be expected especially with NiMh rechargables.Max brightness lasts around 10 mins on these batteries and then very slowly diminishes as expected.True Lumens are around 325 on max with fresh batteries which is very respectable for this size and price of flashlight £5.50 GBP. I have 2 and they are identical in every respect.I can't see how anyone would have a problem with this torch at this price unless it was genuinely faulty.

Like the size and brightness, good value. Howevefer this has been marred by the fact that one of the batteries has failed and despite getting in touch no response hence 3 stars. NB battery was charged before use and is a protected type.

With over 400 reviews and a majority rating of over 4.5 stars, I was intrigued with this torch...There are other torches available with the same lumen output for a higher price, yet, here is an offer of "2 for 1" in my opinion...which didn't seem right....?Nonetheless, I carried out a lengthy search (yes, for a good torch at value) and I went ahead with the purchase, feeling slightly dubious with what I was going to find....The build quality is incredible and they feel slightly weighty but I like that about them. They look and feel slick and the adjustable torch head is perfect.Can't tell you what the battery life is like since I've only had them for less than a week, but based on general build quality I'm hoping they'll last at least one month...I highly recommend this product to anyone looking for a small torch with superior performance and lighting - genuinely delighted, 10 out 10.*** 4 WEEKS UPDATE ***So I've used the torch intermittently (6 days a week) for 5 weeks and in my experience, the batteries start to lose their power after the 3rd week. You can still use the torch with the same batteries but the torch loses its potency and it just becomes and "ordinary dimlighted torch". So recommendation is to change the batteries after 3 weeks or so...I used the 'Kodak' branded batteries.Again, a highly recommended product!

Habe jetzt schon mehere dieser Lampen bestellt. Für den Preis mit Akku. Was soll man falsch machen. Akku OK, wenn auch billigware mit der Angabe der mA nimmt man es nicht so ganz genau. Aber, macht Hell. Darum geht es.

Muy ligeras eso sí, pero ya que sean resistentes...Las dos linternas funcionan, pero hay una que a la hora de agrandar o hacer más pequeño no se desliza bien, se nota la diferencia con la otra linterna
