There is huge design quality and operation issue for the switch. Update after a year: I use this mixer grinder at least 3 to 4 times a day to prepare food for my toddler. Once I had left a steel spoon inside the jar and turned it on. To my surprise, just the Coupler was broken. Replaced the Coupler for 7 bucks. Other than that it all works just fantastic.
